Anybody else have it, I'm acid_medicine if youd be kind enough to add me as Im a loner.
Why do we tell the internet more about ourselves than peeople close to us?

I think we tell the internet more than the people closest to us because there's less risk involved. You're talking to a computer monitor, detached from the actual human beings on the other side, and these are likely strangers that are outside of and unaffected by the situation talked about. There's little chance of actually hurting someone just by talking about ourselves, or being hurt. ....Unless you're trying to hook up with someone, but that's a totally different situation.
As for livejournal, I have one, but I hardly ever use it anymore. Still, if you want to friend me, my username is 'comethime'.

Pfft, I tell these people the same thing in real life I do on livejournal... but most of my livejournal consists of my friends.
But my username is Shimarisu! If I remember to add you (I can easily forget in a few seconds sweatdrop ) then that's me!

I have an LJ too. I'm a wannabe writer and I spend a good lot of my day expressing myself there. ( sweatdrop it's like free therapy almost) Since I'm pretty quiet in real life, the blog is FULL of emotions but also lots of reflective stuff. (and a few dark entries too....O_o I am a many sided person) Anyways...if anyone ever needs time to kill, my journal is the spot..lol.

I have an LJ and I write in it often 3nodding
I write a lot in it because I don't like to talk to actual people so I guess it's easier to type it on an online journal. sweatdrop
No one reads my journal anyways really so I'm just 'letting it out'.

I tell people online a lot more than I do my close friends.
But I dont really know why.
