Granted, but more bugs and defects arise from the modifications of the old ones.

Granted, but it goes too far the other way and now you aren't nice at all so people chase you with sticks.
I wish I could relive my life and make some changes along the way.

granted but no one believes in god so they start removing the "in god we trust" on money and is therefore invalid we go bankrupt

granted but you create too many alternate realities that the universe folds in on itself and you end up where you started, unable to travel time.
