Taking a Screenshot on Windows:
Make sure you have what you want to take a picture of is visible on the screen. Next, you need to find your 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard. Usually this is in the upper-right section (note: Sometimes it may be shortened, such as 'Prt Sc', or have Print Screen/SysRq).

After you have pressed the button, you need to open an image editing program, such as MS Paint. Once you have your program opened, there are a couple ways you can paste your screenshot in:
Edit Menu -> Paste
or
Ctrl+V on your keyboard.

Now that you have your image pasted, you probably want to make it smaller, as the picture will be very large when you post it. Also, please make sure when you go to save it, that you select PNG or JPG as the format. Do not use BMP as they are too large to use on GaiaOnline and most hosts ruin the image by shrinking them.

If you want to place your image on the internet, use an Image Hosting website, such as ImageShack. Use the direct link that it gives you and put it between img tags to display it here.

It's needed and I will put it in the index thread. Trouble is I can't edit Sly's first post in that thread so people might not be able to see it. Therefore, I give permission to bump this thread until I am able to make a special sticky for it. Then hopefully Sly will be on for a couple minutes soon and will be able to add it to the index and I will be able to unsticky the sticky...if that makes sense.

And please remove the link to the GAC as the creator of that program has requested that no one link to it. There are too many stolen programs for it out there. K thanks!
