 Narcissus was stalking something in the jungle. He didn't know what it was yet but it was small, skittish. Maybe, he wasn't sure but it looked small.
He couldn't hide very well so it kept seeing him and running off. Dumb purple bum, kept him from being able to hide. Muttering he shook his head as he tried to creep along again to find a way to capture whatever it was he was chasing.
It paused, he was close enough to it. He paused for a moment and then pounced. "RAWRRRR," He clamped his paws down on the ground something pinned under it.

 "If you're going to eat that bunny.." a voice came just to the right of the hybrid, a lion lounging on his side contently. He was probably the same age as the youngster. "You might want to snap it's neck." He purred out, his eerie green eyes were half shut and he looked rather lazy as he was. "You're completely terrifying the little thing." He raised one brow, his face certainly showing scorn for the other male.

Nac blinked looking up at the male before licking the bunny and letting it go. "I... I was playing..." He blinked again tilting his head. "Who are you?" he questioned the other male, looking up at him slightly timidly.

His eyes widened as if in disbelief and he shook his head in a dissatisfied manner. "That is not a very nice game for the little, fluffy bunny! Would you like being hunted and tackled to the ground?" A slow smile slipped over his lips, as if he was thinking about doing exactly that. It fell away in another moment. "You probably gave that creature a heart attack." He sighed and looked back to the sky. These species around here were so... cruel. "Next time you play like that you better stuff that rabbit in your chubby little tummy... got it?" He raised a brow, glancing over. He didn't sound hard but he did sound like he was giving an order.
After a minute he let out a little laugh, he must have made this fellow rather nervous. "Call me Sawa." Ushaufu was his birthname but Sawa was the name he'd given himself.

Nac's ears fell down as he looked up at larger male. "I'm sorry.... " He sighed and laid down looking rather hurt. "Yeah.... sure..." Chubby, he glanced at his side; he wasn't chubby.... it was mostly fur.
"Nice to meet you Sawa.. I think..." He said tail giving a sad flicker. "I'm Narcissus."

He giggled, obviously pleased at changing this male's mood so quickly. "Well Narcissus... what are you so down about?" He said, really acting as if he had no clue. "Does your mommy hate you? My best friends mom hates him a lot. He usually acts like how you're acting.." He grinned secretively.

"Nau it's worse than that..." Well truefully he didn't know if it was worse than that he just assusmed that it was. "My sisters ran away so I have no one to play with... " He let another sigh looking at the other male. "I just thought the rabbit wouldn't mind playing a game... I didn't mean to scare it..."
"N' I'm sorry your friends' mother is mean..." His tail flickered again, looking at the red on the male noticing the red on his features, where simiular to the purple on his own.

He just stared at the other, frowning slightly. Did he honestly think his sister who loved him running away was worse than the possibilitythat his mother who he would stay with for a very long time hated him? "Well. I see." He said slowly, rolling to his back. "Maybe you should go look for her."

"Mother wouldn't let me...." He muttered trying to burry his head into his paws... "She's already at a breaking point, yelling at Uncle Tego because she thinks it's his fault... I can't leave her..."
He shurged, "They'll be back... maybe... I don't know..." his tail swayed softly, "Mother said she'd take me and learn me how to hunt, but I don't want her to go out there and possibly break down crying." He looked at his rump again shaking off any thought of tears that might be hiding in his eyes, "Besides I'd stick out like a sore thumb.

Sawa didn't get it, not one bit. "Why do what your mother says.... ah!" So he was a momma's boy. Upsetting, really. "Stick out from what Narcie?"

Nac blinked as he looked at Sawa, "From the savana.." He looked at his bum, "I'm half purple, doesn't it make it hard to hide when you're two different colors that doesn't match anything that you've herd about outside?"
His ear twitched not really happy about the idea of being called Narcie but he didn't mind it much. "If my father was here I'd sneak off and see if I could find them, or other way around... he could get around faster than I could I'm sure."
