So... My school art teacher loves watercolor. This series was started as a homework, where we were told to do the same object from different angles. I decided to take an extremly over looked object...and ended up with these:

Yep... it's the bathtub. Painted from life. 30 minutes to a bit over an hour each. 5x7. All of them were painted over a time of 2 weeks. Lots of funny stories to go with each one. (Including the tales of Ultie vs. Hair Dryer Cord)

I love it when they end up purely compositional, like the second one. The rest feel weaker, especially when nothing clearly dominates. Nevertheless, the handling of paint in each is hot. Lots of variety.

i think i like the second one best. the details in color just facinate me, i suppose. and like Doug said: your handling is awesome, it really creates a feeling of realness.

Those are terrific. I'm doing a watercolor project in art class, and, well... it looks so much easier than it actually is. xD

I love the second one, it just has so much feeling to it...even though its just a faucet.

i really like those candles. i think it's the imperfection of it, the inconsistent color (because of the yellow-ish light and thickness of the wax) and how it's all mingling there in the middle. nice! -thumbs up-

that is neat. i used to love marbles when i was a kid. i think i still have some laying around....

but seriously: the lighting is really realistic; it looks amazing. i think i like that one in the middle on the left side best--the one with the orange stripe of glass in the middle.

my favorite marble from when i was a kid was green with yellow on it. yep.

xd I really like the blue marble that's right next to your thumb. Of the group, that one's mah fave. I think it's because I have a marble a lot like it. Anywho, very interesting. I like you you included chip marks in some of the marbles. Very nice touch.
