well i didnt really think spirit tap was all that usefull.. and i barely ever use a wand.

I really like spirit tap. It's helpful in many ways. Even in instances and stuff, you get spirit tap when your party members kill something, so your mana will always regen faster.

undead-waffles well i didnt really think spirit tap was all that usefull.. and i barely ever use a wand. Wanding is the absolute best way to level if you have a good wand. You open with a shadow word pain, renew yourself, maybe a mind blast, and then just wand the enemy down. It's extremely mana efficient, and when you get the kill, your mana regen goes through the roof because of spirit tap.

You open with a shadow word pain, renew yourself, maybe a mind blast, and then just wand the enemy down. Although you forgot the power word: shield, but that's probably a duh and doesn't need to be mentioned. Just grab an arcane damage wand and go.

Power Word: Shield isn't as efficient as just throwing a renew on yourself, which still keeps your health at top condition, and if not, you still have the spirit regen after the fight to help!

whyyyyyyyyyy are you using a cape with +30 attack when there was 2 other quest rewards that would of much better fitted you as a priest? D:
you don't need attack power
at all.

I don't really care for wand spec once you hit 66. Vamp touch is really good, enough to keep my mana up til shadowfiend is off cooldown. Then again, the priest I'm leveling has signifigantly better gear than that <_<

AS a priest wand spec is one of the best talents, wands are mana-less attack for you wether your agroing or not, especially when you get a awesome wand with enchants, omg!! But I would suggest a few points in that and then finish that one forgot it, but yeah looks good if your going shadow, definitely hit it.

Having spirit tap, vampiric touch and intensity, it pretty much keeps you full mana as you move from mob to mob. Keeping as little down time as possible is the best thing to do while leveling. Did not take wand specialization, I'm assuming pvp-server so unbreakable will is pretty nice to have. Typical usage of this spec will be: vampiric touch, shadow word pain, mind flay, fear, mind flay spam. If you want you can toss mind blast when the mob is out of range of the mind flay. Only shield if necessary, it is not very mana efficient.
