Azima yawned as he rolled away from the wall of the den, stretching out his limbs. Life had gotten... boring, sort of. His mother was missing and his father was acting strange since the death of his friends. He hadn't talked much to his siblings, nor had he made any friends. Speaking of friends... maybe he should visit the pridelands again? He cringed and shook his head, sighing. He wasn't sure what made him want to be friends with the pale, golden pridelander so much... but he did! Though he was quickly learning that first impressions were a big part of future relationships, and others did not take quickly to those who gave out malicious words so freely.

He was beginning to understand more and more about himself with the days, his short temper and his insane jealousy of all of his siblings. His odd, misplaced hatered for his twin sister. He was trying to over-come some of these things, he was trying to be a better lion! That was what counted, right? His ears pressed back and he sighed, standing and slipping carefully past a few sleeping forms and out into the daytime of the Kusini lands. These thoughts were making him upset, it was best just to leave them behind.

He started to head for the watering holes, intent on getting himself a drink.
