Kenai shifted through the Kusini grasses, looking a bit sad and certainly serious. But as he glanced back to make sure Ayo was following he offered her a soft smile. He wanted her to at least meet his father, maybe his sisters if they were around. They would be leaving the Kusini lands soon, though he never thought it would come to this. This place has come to feel very sad for him, with the passing of his mother.

He looked back to where he was going; the dens. If someone was around it should probably be near the dens, though not many little ones were about these days. Mostly the pride held juveniles, who would grow soon and become great kusini members! Or maybe some would venture to 'far off' lands, the exotic capturing their minds.

A lone figure sat outside alone, gazing into the distance with fading eyes. Isoke was alone for the first time in awhile, leaving Tafari to bond with his sister while she could get a chance to think over some things. It had been awhile since she actually faced the idea of her mother, and it saddened her heart just a bit, though she forced herself not to cry.

Instead, she just let the winds play with her mane as she sat, basking in the beauty of the day and the happy memories of her family. That was all she could do, she figured, just remember and be happy.

However, her thoughts were cut short as she noticed two figures in the distance, and she stiffened slightly in her wait.

Ayo followed at Kenai's side though she slowed her pace as they approched the dens to allow him to greet with the family and say his goodbyes. She had been saddened by the news that had greeted them upon their arrival to the dens not to long before. Kenai had grown to be a good friend to her and she would stick by his side through these sad times. It was for that reason that she had chosen to go with him on his aimless journey... So he could find contentment.

Kenai offered a saddened smile to his sister and when he got close to her he bowed his head rather than give a friendly nuzzle. He had not talked with his sister in a long time, it made him sad. "Isoke, it is good to see you again." He greeted, a hint of a purr in his voice. Even if he would leave the home lands of his family.. he would always love them.

"I come with some.. news." He could not say if it was good or bad really, for he did not know how his sister would take it.
