i know i haven't posted much in the guild, and i'm sorry for that. i'm goin to try and fix it by starting posting in the book club after i finish reading "Blood and Chocolate" by annette Curtis Klause.
i was just wondering what people think about this book. my sis suggested it to me, and i'm not really sure if it's considered a romance or not. thoughts? suggestions? comments?

This was an enjoyable book and I've actually read it a couple of times. The book being about werewolves it what caught my attention, for I like a good fantasy about them and they are just hard to find.
Vivian's character is a bit, hmm, unlikable at times, but other than that it's a fun read.
I've also seen the movie, which doesn't follow the book exactly, but I still enjoyed it.

So off topic (I've never read the book, so I can't really comment), but since you like werewolves, thought I'd throw a few out there. Kresely Cole's Immortals After Dark series is good. Not all of the books are about werewolves (there's vampires and witches and Valkeries, Oh my!), but the first book in the series ( A Hunger Like No Other) is and I loved it.

I'll have to check these out! I'm always looking for a good book and a series is even better. Edit: I was looking up Cole's booklist and I didn't realize I've read one of her books ( The Captain of All Pleasures) before, since it was a while ago that I read it. I can remember bits and pieces about the book and that I looked for other books by her at my Library, but they didn't have any... I might have to order her Immortals After Dark series ^_^

i liked blood and chocolate. the ending was kinda depressing and seemed to be left open for another book to come, but i don't think there is one. is there??

I haven't read or seen it yet. I want to, though. :3 But, also adding some, Keri Arthur Writes alot about werewolves and Vampires, though some of her more recent books are a little gruesome. Rebecca York's a one too. <3

I actually didn't know it was a book, me and my sister were in Hollywood Video looking for something that seemed interesting when we came upon it. We've always enjoyed vampire and werewolve type things so we got it and it was actually a really good movie. I'd read the book but once I've seen the movie I can't read the book, I don't know why I just can't.
