I'm about to start classes on the 8th of April. It's an online college, Colorado Tech University. I was wondering if anyone else has done this, is thinking of doing this, or are doing this now.

I'm kinda hesitant, with my husband living overseas for a year, and having my 5 month old, Ariana, with me. Yes, hubby's supportive. He's actually planning on doing the same thing.

Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is... am I really doing the right thing for us? lol... It may sound obvious to everyone else, but I've been living in a fog, so to speak.

I think anything that helps us learn and grow and stretch in a good way is good for us. Way to go!

I've thought about going back to school too.
Maybe after the little one is weaned.

I think it's great that you're going back to school! 3nodding

Online school sounds like a good idea. I've considered it myself.

I take the occasional course to keep up my license, and I know that sitting in classes can be tough with little ones in tow. I once took my son to a workshop on treating and interacting with pregnant and nursing mothers. He was four months old, and I was nursing, so... And I remember the organizer telling me, on the second day, that there had been complaints that my baby (who had been amazingly quiet and well-behaved) needed to be taken out of the room when he started making noise. rolleyes When kids are younger, it's probably much easier and less of a hassle to go the online route.

I think it's wonderful that you're going back to school. It's a great way to avoid the feeling that your brain is turning into mush. Good luck!
