A dark figure moved quietly around in the grass. Nearby, the graveyard was visible, though Omoa had never been so far out before. She shook dirt off of her fur, having just come out of one of her tunnels for the first time. Oddly enough, she had dug too far, and ended up further out from the graveyard than she expected.
"Where am I?" She wondered aloud, sniffing the air. The dry, dead scent of her home was still lingering in the air, but the smell of the air was much more... Alive.
"Anyone out here?" She called, throwing caution to the winds. A new place had to have new animals to meet, right? She just hoped that it wouldn't be a lion.
"Hello?"

The white male moved slowly in the grass, he looked up every now and then aware of the predators that would happily eat him within a second of seeing him. He groaned annoyed slightly at how this had all worked out before a voice caught his ears and he laid close to the ground. His bright blue eyes looking around.
"H..h...hello?" He stuttered still looking around, looking for evil lions and places to hide all at once. He was a paranoid little thing.

Omoa perked up and bounded over to the source of the noise, quickly coming upon something white and blue. How strange, she hadn't met another of her kind other than her family, though she knew they had to exist somewhere.
"Well hello there." She smiled, "What are you doing on the ground? I'm not going to eat you." She teased, laughing slightly. She had only once feared being eaten, and that was when she had met Mafa, but since then she knew that the hyena pack would protect her. She was known as a slave there, but she didn't mind, she was safe and lived with a few hyenas who treated her as an equal.
"I'm Omoa, what's your name?"

He wasn't too impressed with what she said and grunted a little before standing back up.
"Baya." It was only a small reply but either way. He wasn't a happy creature that was for sure. He had been scared by another of his species, was he really that pathetic? Ugh.
"Do you always go around shouting? You are likely to get eaten doing that." He wasn't happy, not at all. Stupid females.

"Eaten? I'm not going to get eaten." She said proudly. "My friends wouldn't be very happy with that." She shook her head. "And I'm not shouting, I'm TALKING." she said, rolling her eyes.
"I suppose it's nice to meet you anyway though, Baya." She said with a smile, "I think you gotta learn to loosen up though. No point in going through life if you're not going to enjoy it." Omoa brushed a bit of soil off her fur with a paw, though it wasn't all that obvious that she was covered in it. Much of her body was covered in black fur anyway.

Baya grunted at her and tried to think of a way to get away from her, anyway he possibly could.
"I am happy with life. If you want to go around shouting your head off I will give you no sympathy when you get eaten." He grunted again, it was obviously something he did alot. Most would smile, he would grunt.

Omoa was shocked by how grumpy this guy seemed. Honestly, she wasn't being that loud, was she? "Fine, I'll be quiet." She whispered, mocking him.
"But I don't need to worry about being eaten, I've got protection." She said with a smile, "I have a bunch of hyenas who protect me." She glanced over her shoulder to look at the graveyard, "Plus I blend in there. You might too, actually." Omoa nodded. "Yeah, I could see you looking a bit like a bone."

"Bones aren't blue." He moaned, though granted he was white but still the blue and it wasn't a dark blue it was stupidly bright and shouted out to predators that prey was about and wanted to be eaten though he didn't want to be eaten at all!

Omoa laughed, "No, but I know three blue hyenas, and they get along just fine, even with the..." She shuddered, "Lions lurking about. But anyway, nobody will eat you if you come live in the graveyard." She said smugly.
She was careful not to say 'live in the graveyard with me' because that would imply that she wanted to live with him. She didn't, of course. Or did she? No, he wasn't enough fun. Nope, but he could sure live in the graveyard, right?
"And besides, the hyenas I know are WAY more blue than you."

"Fine, I will go to our graveyard." He never gave into anything so this was a little odd but there, he had given in and hadn't grumbled... yet.
"Lead the way then." Still no grumble though he wasn't acting much happier either. He wasn't happy, how could he? She could be leading him to his death!

"See now that wasn't so hard." She laughed, "This way then." She said happily, following her own scent back to the entrance to her tunnel.
"My home is right through here." Omoa explained, stepping inside and walking confidently even in the half darkness. The tunnel was rather large, not enough for most creatures to fit into, but a ratel would fit in quite nicely and have plenty of room to move.
"I don't think my friends are home right now, but maybe you can meet them later." She said with a shrug, "But you're welcome to stay if you want, I don't think they'll mind." In all reality, Shira might not be too happy, but she was sure Yakuti wouldn't let her hurt her new friend. If you could call them friends anyway.

"Yes, friends." She wagged her tail, short as it was. "I've known them since I was a pup." She said as they came to the end of the tunnel. She hopped out, shaking the dirt off her fur again.
"Well, here we are." She said, glancing around. She was right, the hyenas were gone, but their scent hung in the air. "If they happen to come and I'm not around, just say you're with Omoa and they'll leave you alone." She said with yet another nod.
