Kamali shifted his weight as he slipped through the woods, he was getting farther and farther from the falls but it didn't bother him too much. Today... today he wanted to watched the sky and he believed the best places to watch the sky were in feilds, not in the woods. It didn't matter if you could see the same amount of sky in both places, fields just had a better atmosphere.
He just hoped no troubles would start now that he was venturing away from his newly established territory.

Another wolf had the same idea of sky-watching. But his was for a different reason; he was on the lookout for his friend, Majuzi, a crow who had dissapeared from sight like he did occasionally. But the large wolf was worried now, he hadn't seen his friend in almost a day, and he never stayed away that long before.
Khaliki wandered into ther field, and immediately noticed another wolf across it. He could smell water in the distance, a lot of it, and the very faint gurgling sounds of a waterfall. He figured this other male had come from that way, assuming the water source drew him, as it was now drawing Khal. Pushing aside the thought of his little yellow friend for the moment, the dark eyed wanderer made his way cautiously towards the other. "Greetings, friend." He called out, acknowledging the fact he saw the other.

The alpha had just gotten to a lovely rock in which he'd planned on sitting on, laying on... spending his day on! But words from another jarred him away from his rock, his head snapping to the left. Why had he not noticed the other male's scent?
It didn't matter, luckily this one didn't seem hostile. He bowed his head slightly. "Good morning." He said slowly, watching the other curiously. "I guess I am not the only one who enjoys this feild." He offered a friendly smile.

The dark pelted male returned the smile with a nod and one of his own. A soft, hearty chuckle escaped him. "Actually, I was in search of a friend of mine. Came across this place by accident. But it is quite lovely." He looked around then, taking in the fields beauty for the first time. It was indeed a lovely spot, but the old wolf hadn't noticed it because of his worry.
"Maybe you've seen him... He's a little yellow crow, quite a mouth on him, too." He chuckled again. "Haven't seen him in a almost a day now-"
He was cut off when something small and yellow smashed into his skull. Khal yelped in surprise and turned to growl at the thing, then noticed it was Majuzi. "Juzi! There you are!" He said happily.
The little yellow bird gave him a glare and sqwauked. "'There you are!'" He mimicked, in a very well-mastered voice like Khals. "Yes! Here I am! After a day of trying to find you!" He ruffled his feathers, not taking note of the other wolf until his beady eyes turned that way. He gave a sqwuak of fright and puffed up his feathers even more. "I see you've found a new best friend! Well that's fine by me!" He flew off into one of the tree tops in a tnatrum, and Khal sighed heavily.
