Intro on it: I usually do fantasy, but I decided to do one on how the media represents teenage girls in today's society. Please, some constructive critism would be really nice.
The Gucci bag hit the floor, it contents rolled out, pink make-up, pink purse, and a pink mobile phone. A teenage girl was there, at her cupboard, she wore a denim mini skirt with a small pocketed denim jacket to match and a tight squeezed pink shirt with a design on front. Her hair was long, bleached and beautiful. “Sweetheart is that you?” her Mum cried out from the kitchen downstairs, “I do have a name, Mother!” the girl spoke, emphasising ‘Mother’, knowing her Mum hated it, Storming in, her Mum yelled and swore at her, with some colourful language back her Mum was shock but the worst was yet to come, “Go get drunk, and sleep around! That’s all you ever did when you were young, you stupid bi---!” Being cut off by her Mum slapping her right across the face, “How dare you, you ungrateful child, I could have gotten abortion, knowing your low-life Father wasn’t sticking around, but no! I loved you, and this is how you re-pay me?!?” She yelled out, causing the neighbors to stop what there doing and listen. All went quiet except the slamming of the teenager’s bedroom door, her Mum slammed it and walked down stairs and continued to cook dinner, they’re favourite meal...
A few hours later, the mobile phone rang, the ring tone played, ‘I’m a Barbie girl’ Jumping of the bed and leaped for the phone, she grabbed it, and answered the call,
“Hey girlfriend!” She said as she picked up, on the other end, her friend replied, “Oi, Felicity, come to my house a really awesome party is going on, see you here!” Suddenly the phone call ended by her friend’s demand of the ‘hang up’ button.
Felicity ran to her wardrobe, she grabbed clothing set, black-leather, a boob-tube, a micro-mini skirt, knee-high boots and a tiny bag that she places some eyeliner, mascara, blush, and her mobile, knowing her Mum wouldn’t let her go, she turned of her light and climbed out her window. She walked a few blocks down, reaching her friends house, she could hear the music and see the people. As she walked up to the door, people looked at her, she saw some eyes go down, then up again, one guy just stared at her, “My breasts aren’t doing a concert right now, maybe buy a ticket and come back later?” She spoke in a seductive way then winked at him; she walked inside, looking for her friend. “Joss, where are you?” she cried out, a guy grabbed her arm and spun her around, “I can be Joss if you like, baby!” He said in a drunken voice, while spilling some of the drink he was holding, spilled over the edge of the disposable cup and on his shirt. “Eh, no thanks, but I’ll take your drink!” She grabbed the cup and swallowed it all down in one gulped, everything got a bit dizzy but she didn’t care, walking into the kitchen she saw her friend on the kitchen bench, making-out with some stranger, he was on top while rubbing her legs, “Joss?” Felicity asked, and Joss heard and saw her friend, she pushed him off and fixed her clothes, “Sorry, maybe later?” Joss said to the male who stood there, wondering what was going on, the friend waved him out, and he did what she ordered.
“Who the hell was that guy?” Felicity asked?
“Oh, just a guy…” Joss said while fixing the bench up, “Yeah, I know, but he was hot! Has he got, you know, a friend I can borrow?” She said while giggling.
They both walked out of the kitchen, guys checked them out, and they did the same, eventually they both started dancing, and with that, they got split up, Joss went up to her bedroom, she had sex with the guy from before, but Felicity was lost, with all the people dancing she had no idea what to do, so she started up a conversation with a guy, they talked for an hour, the conversation turned into touching, he got her a few drinks, every five minutes In the mean time he watched her drink the drinks, swallowing the liquid in the cups all go in her mouth, little did she know, it was alcohol…
She tried to speak a few times, finally she managed to retrieve her words, “I want to go home.” She fell on to his shoulder, “Okay, let’s go.” He said in a dark, frightening voice, he held her, walking past the people who were dancing then back out the way they came in, the front door, she started to vomit on the lawn, “Hurry up!” He yelled at her, finally she stopped, and they continued to walk, now they were in a side street, he opened the car door and threw her into the back, landing on the seat she bump her head fell in a sleep, “Excellent…” He said while getting into the car his plan was working, he turned the ignition on and then drove off…
Meanwhile this was happening her Mum came into her room with two cups of hot chocolate, “Honey, we should talk.” She spoke with a harmonic voice, turning on the lights, she froze, seeing the bed empty, she dropped the two cups and caused the fluffy carpet to be stained with the warm beverage, “No!” She screamed, falling to her knees she cried, “Why is she like this god, why?” She managed to get through the tears that flooded her lips that were once from her eyes After ten minutes of crying, she pulled herself together and called the police, after talking the operators, she found out she couldn’t do anything else but wait, wait until it had been twenty-four hours of her daughter, she loved with all her heart, was missing.
Everything was dark, the only light visible was one streetlight, it kept flickering on and off, Felicity was scared but managed to sit up, she looked out the car door window, and she continued to do so until she noticed someone coming, he saw her awake and started running. Felicity started to crawl to the left backdoor, but he was too quick he opened the opposite door and pulled her away, getting in too, he closed his door and held her down, he was on top of her while she struggled to knock him off but she couldn’t do so instead she just screamed. “Help!” She cried out, she felt inferior and weak compared to his power he had over her, “You little skank, it’s your own fault!” As he reached for his belt by that time she had enough, she kneed him right into his crotch. For a few seconds she watched him curl up and moan, it was her time, she had her chance to get out. She kicked him at the door, causing him to fall out of the car; she opened her door, and ran for her dear, fragile life.
A few days later her Mum was frantic, finding the latest pictures of her missing daughter, finding her friend’s number and most of all, helping the officers of the law find her…
Another day pasted and still no alteration for the case of her missing, teenage daughter, this time she went to the media, the public newspaper, oddly, there was no sign of her daughter. She received many calls giving sympathy for her loss; her sorrows were soon turned around as they changed to frustration knowing she would eventually find her daughter, “She is not gone! She is alive, I know it!” She cried out on the last phone call, slamming it down, she caused the white device of communication to crack.
The past few days the headlines caused the viewers to believe she was stuck-up, deceiving, manipulating and a liar, though this was true, sometimes, it offended other teenagers, the were judged as untrustworthy, drug and alcohol abusers, their parent were outraged, they decided to get a search party going on, though many never showed up, on friends of the family and her best friend, Joss.
“What happened that night?” Cried out the Mum of Felicity, while holding Joss in a tight grip and shaking her at the same time. ”How the hell am I supposed to know? I was having sex, maybe you should try it sometime,it’s actually pretty good.” She said to her with a smirk on her face, the Mum was furious and threw her flying, she ran to her car and drove a few kilometers away, and she parked the old Sedan and cried. While she was having a moment crying, news reporters came everywhere, they surrounded the car and cameras filmed her and her tears, “Go away!” She yelled out, beeping the horn they moved away, she drove of…
A few hours pasted, she was at home, drinking a very strong, long black coffee, rocking back and forth in her chair, the cracked phone rang, even though she was startled she had suspicion to answer it, but she did,
“Hello, who is there?”
She paused and listened to there voice, suddenly she dropped her coffee and the phone, she froze…
