I'm sorry if a topic like this already exists. If it does, please point me in it's direction. ^__^ Anyway, I thought it would be an interesting idea for people to post their own pictures of themselves in what they think may be lolita. That way, members who are more experienced with the fashion can help us newbies to get it right. ^__^ Personally, I'm confused about a lot of the clothing I have. I try to dress a little loli, but I don't know if what I have is loli enough. Here are a couple of pictures of me wearing one of my "loli" dresses, though the neckline is a bit low, the skirt is a nice length, So, Loli or not loli? heart

but I think it would have potential with a petticoat and some accesories (wrist corsets and a headdress would be nice)

I was a little afraid to go on the ramp, so here's the conversation that transpired between my friend and I: Mary: Okay, get on the ramp. Me: But- what is a car comes? Mary:A car isn't going to come, just do it. Me: But, what I get hit by a car? Mary: scream Well, it won't make you any uglier! rofl I heave GREAT friends!

EGL Goddess but I think it would have potential with a petticoat and some accesories (wrist corsets and a headdress would be nice) That's a good idea. ^__^ Thank you. I do have a sort of petticoat, and I've got tons of accesories that would work well. Thanks again!

i'm thinking gothic and romantic....perhaps knee high socks for a more lolitaish touch? and i'm and accessory whore,so of course i agree that you should wear more! rofl You could even buy say, black glass beads and string them to make bracelets, that'd be nice. Perhaps a necklace with a big antique charm,too...ooh,and maybe curling your hair a little, maybe just at the ends,it's so long,so much you could do with it!woo, okay,i gotta slow down... all in all though I think you look very pretty!^_^

Judging from what I've seen of actual Lolita's and knowing a hardcore loli, I think that it definitely has potential. A petticoat is a must as is raising the collar...or you could purchase one. Gothic/Lolita shops carry things like that. The skirt is a tad too short and will only get shorter with the petticoat, skirts should only be about an inch above the knee, so I suggest adding a larger trim to the bottom. I agree with the knee highs, and it would be great to add a headdress. Lace gloves would also be an adorable touch. The biggest problem is your makeup though...there is simply too much of it. Think all natural and go from there. While white foundation is always gorgeous if you are going to where it, you have to make your face match your neck...it's odd having two skin tones, same with your arms. If you are going to show that much of them and wear the white foundation then use a loose white powder and powder them too so they match, and then you'll have that flawlessly pale look. ^w^

Also, you might want to do something cute with your hair. :3 I think the cut of the top is fine. Because of the cap sleeves, it looks like a one-piece, but it could still be worn with a black blouse underneath.
