Recycling threads again: so what do people have planned for the Xmas holidays? Are there any huge family reunions / gatherings planned?
I'm off from 5.30pm on 21st December to 9am on 7th January, huzzah! I'll visit my parents from Xmas Eve to maybe 27th December. I learned a couple of years ago that it's best not to visit for long stretches, as I get tetchy and argumentative. Ah, the Xmas spirit brings out the best in us all... wink
I thought I'd go visit a friend of mine in Leicester at some point during the period - then we can both hop a train and go see another mutual friend in Nottingham.
As always, sleeping will also feature, if I have any say in the matter. The BBC reckons more than half the population are mildly sleep-deprived and I think I can count myself among that number...

Not much goes on in my holiday. I see my Dad's side of the family on Xmas eve and my Mom's side on Xmas day. I'll use the week or 2 I have off to vedge. My sister will be back from the other side of the US for a week, so that will be nice.
I never know what I want for Xmas, so my family is usually peeved at me. >.<

That sounds familiar. I demand that everyone tell me what they want, then can't tell them in return. Or at least, usually I have a list a mile long of DVDs, but my folks argue that I can (and do) buy those at any time of the year, so that's not good enough for a present idea... Still, this year, I broke the zip on my wallet in December, so a new one of those would be nice.
