I think CM Punk has the fan base he needs in order for the idea of his title reign to be acceptable, but thinking logically? He isn't going to win the MitB match for the title shot. There are at least 2 people in there who, even if they don't have the advantage in the ladder match, they will probably win it. So, CM might have to find other means to get the Title shot.

Yes, he's a little too green for a world Championship, but Lashley was too.

I personally don't think this is a good idea, He's very high and mighty with the fans and everything but think about how aggravating it'll get seeing him as champion. I mean this isn't Ring of Honor, he'll eventually be given some stupid gimmick or storyline and chances are he'll probably have a heel run with a winning streak.
You can only push a wrestler so high until people get sick of him.

He performs his moves so sloppily it's laughable. It's like he grabs somewhere near to where he's supposed to and then halfasses it. I don't care how great he was on the indies, he isn't doing anything now. His knee lift in the corner and bulldog are sloppy. Even his finisher (KENTA's move, Go to Sleep) is performed sloppily.

I don't know he does seem to have a big enough fan base to keep it going for awhile, although his wrestleing does need improving. I definately don't think that he has a chance in the Money in the Bank match, so if he wants a shot at the belt he'll have to find other means to do it.

He is a hell of a lot better choice then Lashley mr. no personality. CM Punk is straight edge and straight edge means he is better then you!

No. It's too soon. If they play their cards right, he'll be a major player int he future though. I say give it six to eight months.
