Wow, that's really hard one to answer. There's a TON of things you need to decide on before giving birth.
I highly recommend speaking with your OB about this. They can guide you in the right direction and give you the necessary reading materail if you haven't gotten any books or done any research on your own.
There are also childbirth education classes. Most hospitals offer these for free, if not check out your local YMCA or pay the fee if you have no idea where to stop.
Just a few questions:
Any allergies?
Have you been hospitalized before?
Will there be any complications IF a c-section is necessary?
Do you have someone to assist you (ie. driving, food, etc)?
What kind of facility is it? Is it LDRP all in one room?
Where are you doing to deliver?
What options do you hope (things change, so keep an open mind)for pain management wise?
Those are just a handful of questions you have to answer to prepare yourself.
