there's a saying that goes "without war there can be no peace." what it means i believe is that when bad things happen and fight break out, like people revolting their government for some little thing and another country steps in to help and it becomes classified as a war, which started because someone wanted change and when that change happens, most likely through a compromise at the end of the war then there will be peace until another change is wanted and two opposing groups start fighting and another country gets started. it's a little like siblings fighting and then a parent stepping in and making a deal so they're both happy.

unless of course it's a genocide because a group doesn't like another group, ie: the Holocaust and Hutu's vs. Tutsies. then it's just pure hate that needs to be stopped, probably only by war, to make peace.

i'm sure i could think of more to present to you, alot is my opinion based on what i've learned of histories wars, but i can't really think of it all at the moment
