Just curious to see other people's thoughts.
Here are a few discussion questions:
1.)Do you like to sell items in the exchange or in the MP?
2.)What are the advantages of that?
3.)And Disadvantages?
4.)Do you like to find deals in the exchange or just go the mp and buy the lowest price?
5.)Do you bid or buyout?
6.)Do you believe in inflation?

2.)What are the advantages of that? You can buy items in the exchange then sell for more in the MP
3.)And Disadvantages? Deflation may come into effect and you may lose money instead of making money.
4.)Do you like to find deals in the exchange or just go the mp and buy the lowest price? I go to the exchange. Mostly because I can throw in items instead a full 100% pure.
5.)Do you bid or buyout? Buyout
6.)Do you believe in inflation? Yes.

2.)What are the advantages of that? You make gold faster than just posting or playing games will over time. And I can help my friends out with their quests faster than they can alone. And I twice saw someone sell an ORLY hat for 1g. In 5 minutes. I don't know if they got it back though...
3.)And Disadvantages? Deflation, and those people who PM you trying to get a free item. They bug me.
4.)Do you like to find deals in the exchange or just go the mp and buy the lowest price? Depends on the item. You get the occasional item that's sold at a good price in the MP, or commons, but I generally like to bid out items, or go to the exchange for MC's.
5.)Do you bid or buyout? Both 3nodding I bidout more than buy though.
6.)Do you believe in inflation? Yes. I can't see how anyone could NOT believe in inflation.

I prefer the MP.
2.)What are the advantages of that?
I don't have any fear of the thread owner leaving, being outbid, time waisted, less frustration, etc.
3.)And Disadvantages?
The only disatvantage I see is that I miss a few deals.

I used the "lowest buy price" in the MP.
5.)Do you bid or buyout?
Buyout all the way BABY!

I use it to my advantage.

It's quicker than the exchange and there sometimes are very good deals (or very nice mistakes sweatdrop my, I must be a bad girl), you don't have to deal directly with others, you don't get outbid...
3.)And Disadvantages?
When my computer starts lagging... I miss some good deals or even worst, I can't cancel some sells on time crying this is horrible...

Lowest buy price of the mp.

Buyout is better, but I do bid sometimes.

Hopefully, that's how I can make money.

I prefer the MP, I don't really have any experience in the Exchange, and I would probably end up doing something I regret. xD
2.)What are the advantages of that?
In my opinion, you get faster results, there's no real haggling or anything. Also, you don't have to act friendly with the constant "Good luck with that"'s from people that really just want you to donate the item in question to them. stressed

Hum... If you make a mistake, it's done. And that sucks. xD

Lowest prices. I'm rather impatient. xD

Buyout! heart Never had much luck with auctions. :/

I believe it is a useful economic tool that I can use for my own benefit.

1.)Do you like to sell items in the exchange or in the MP? Both. If I just want pure gold I want the MP, when I am looking for trades I go to the Exchange.
2.)What are the advantages of that? You can haggle in the exchange, so both people feel a little cheated but a little happy, yet in the MP you know that if it sells your getting the minimum you'd accept for it.
3.)And Disadvantages? MP - No real interaction EX - You can get guilted into or talked into giving up more then you wanted to for less then you hoped for
4.)Do you like to find deals in the exchange or just go the mp and buy the lowest price? MP
5.)Do you bid or buyout? bid., you earn gold in a bid war and usually still wind up under the buy now. Also some people put insane buy now point. If your bidding and it gets close to the buy now you can buy now but once you buy now, you cannot change your mind and bid.
