Okay, this dream isnt mine; but my sister's. She didnt give me much detail since she couldn't remember anything except for one very odd detail... she married a native american...and she found that very unsettling in itself since she's never had the slightest inclination to marry nor date.

Marriage isn't always a bad thing. Sometmies our dreams do have meaning.

According to Dream Moods (I can't help but use that site, it is so good!)

"Marriage
To see a marriage in your dream, signifies commitment, harmony or transitional period. You are undergoing an important developmental phase in your life. The dream may also represent the unification of formerly separate or opposite aspects of yourself. In particular, it is the union of masculine or feminine aspects of yourself. Consider the qualities and characteristics of the person that you are marrying. These are the qualities that you need to look at incorporating within yourself."

This is a good thing! She seems to be growing up a little, and yes, it will be very scary, but, its still a VERY good thing!

However, Dream Moods also says this:

"Intermarriage
To dream that you intermarry, signifies quarrels and manifestations of trouble and loss."

I am assuming that your family is not Native-American, because otherwise I don't think she would have stated so, it would have been fairly unimportant.

But still, this could be a good thing. It could signify something as simple as the loss of a bad habit, or a bad situation, or just an old part of life, which can be quite troublesome for those who are afraid of change.

Its actually interesting because within the last 8 or 9 months, people have really been talking about a feeling of change. Something major, something universal, but something they can't explain or really grasp. I just thought it was very interesting.

Hope that helps her a little. Tell her not to worry, the dream isn't saying that she is going to get married anytime soon.

lol! My sister says she NEVER wants to get married, but when she does entertain the idea her prospect is usually Japanese.

As for the nationality thing, no we're not native american, we have alot of native-american blood in the family, but no. We're actually african american with hispanic, caucasian, and native american blood...real fruit loops you might say. But its true she IS doing a bit of growing up lately and keeps referring to her friends as 'children.'

Thats cute that she calls her friends that. Might it be safe to say that she is noticing that her friends aren't growing up near as quick as she'd like them to? whee I say, she'll be just fine. Make sure she is able to properly vent her feelings so that it doesn't get all bottled up...I had that issue hardcore, but having good support systems like my family and my fiance, it really helps. Tell her that she is a healthy young woman! heart

well she seems fairly healthy, despite her decided lack of interest in boys...or girls, which I think is fine since I wasnt really one of those types of girls either. But its good to know that she's fairly normal, and keeping her feelings bottled up would require a whole lot of money.
