I would like to get together an RP outside of the "main" one (lot of progress on that, by the way) (sarcasm), something where, hopefully, we won't be playing as super-powerful, easily-godmoded characters. I realize that this will draw opposition, but please don't spam with posts such as "Y CANT I B TEH JEDIS OR TEH SITHS OR THE MANDALORIANZ!?!?!?!??!?!!!!!11!1" or you will be called a flaming idiot. Oh, yeah, and reported to the mods (If they do anything about this. I'm not sure, as I'm relatively new here).
General rules: 1. No spamming. (See intro) 2. Please be literate. I realize this is hard for some people. If you don't speak English or have other problems, use a spell checker. Also, please keep typos to a minimum. I realize that words will be misspelled, but too much is really intolerable. I'll try to politely correct any consistent errors I see, and I hope that people will do the same for me. 3. NO GODMODING! For those of you who don't know, godmoding consists of this type of thing. "I throw both of my lightsabers at you, which cut your lgs off. Then I draw two more and cut your arms off. Then I put a hole in your head with a handheld blaster cannon. Then I escape in my private super-duper star destroyer with 435764357896 hyper-mega-turbolasers that kill all the ships you send after me. EAT THAT SUKKAS!!!!1." No. A good rule of thumb: RP what you do, and not what happens to the other guy. If you want to be able to say what happens to him, PM him and agree on a path to the story. 4. Be polite. There is no flaming here. 5. No Jedi, Sith, or Mandalorian-Bounty-Hunter types unless you're experienced and have a darn good character. Bounty hunters are okay, but not the Jango/Boba godly kind. 6. Flawed characters are good! They make the RP better than "the heroes all united and saved the galaxy and everyone lived happily ever after the end." 7. Violation of any of the above will result in post deletion and exclusion from the RP until you clean up your act.
Application's going to be really informal, at least for now. Just post with any suggestions you want to see included, a brief description of a character you may play, and a brief RP sample if you want to put in the effort. The sample doesn't have to pertain to your suggestions/character, but they help me and anyone else who joins me get an idea of what you're going for.

Suppose I should kick this off...
All I want out of this is to play as a normal person. Okay, maybe slightly cooler, but no all-powerful jedi master. Also, is it okay with everyone if we play shortly after the rebellion?
Character name: Rayce Banin Race: Human (Corellian) Background: A former Rebel engineer, Rayce can fix just about anything. He left the battlefield after being wounded during an Imperial ambush on Endor, and the only reminder he keeps of his military days is a customized DT-57 heavy blaster pistol in a lockbox under his bed. He works below his intelligence, as a civilian mechanic, fixing the luxury speeders of the wealthy without any hope of getting that life for himself.

"Hello, are you Rayce Banin. I've been studying your career, and I am suprised you are settling for a job like this. We could use someone like you over in intelligence. You wouldn't have to fight much, just go on missions. Heck, we could probably get that injury fixed. What do you say?"
