I have become a much stronger Christian over the past years. I have learned a lot about the bible, am able to offer a factual and philosophical rebuttal to even the most bashing claims against Christ, and taken up guitar/piano lessons to lift praises up to the lord. Still, I have a few struggles. The most predominant being the overwhelming hate I have felt towards humanity. The things that are so cruel and selfish that they do to defensless and innocent animals disgusts me. So, if you please, pray for me, and maybe share some things that have made you a stronger christian throughout the years.
Oh, by the way........

It's hard for me to understand humanity too. I wish I could have an answer, but I don't. I just have faith that everything is in gods hands. I'll keep you in my preyers and I'm glad that you've become a stronger christian, there aren't enough out there.

Wow are you my clone? lol the things that get me so angry about humanity is how they hurt each other so much too and dont care.. and yes they dont respect any life including animals and insects.. 2000 spiders are killed daily by arachnaphobics.... anyway..
I will deffinetly pray for ya.. but you pray for my anger issues too, lol.. lol we should start a group xd oh wait we are already in one O.o

I will pray for all of you, as for hating humanity my feelings are if GOD could send His Son to die for us, then we can at least not hate one another.

I'll pray for you, but I also went through the same thing, Lord said not to hate anyone but to turn the other cheek, but also he doesn't hate people but hate the things that they do. SO you could be angry at what they do, but not them personally...get it? pm me and I'll point out scriptures ok?

I really hate it when people don't respect life. Once, when I was little, my mom and sister and I went to a gas station in town that had an ice cream store in it and I looked out the window and there were these two mice that were just outside the window and would duck in and out of the little space between the trash can and the wall. Well, the girl working behind the counter got freaked out and had the guy that was working on the gas station side go out and kill them. It was sad...

God sent his son to die for us, so why do humans treat others like they do. I suppose that is why we question our faith. If all this bad stuff happens, where is God, but without suffering there would be no compassion...

I know, I know, I went through the same thing a year or three ago. With all the horrors we're exposed to all the time, it's hard to believe that people are basically good, but I think this is true. Also, it's hard to keep in mind that sometimes...the things we do as far as killing animals is necessary. God specifically describes us as more important than birds in one instance, and, of course He gave us dominion over all the animals and the Earth and such...anywho. It's true that because of this, we really are being a little jerky to God by messing up his awesome gifts, but you also need to keep in mind that WE are the most important and beloved species in God's eyes, and people some first, simply put. It may sound harsh, but eh. (shrug) Whatcha gonna do? I agree that animal cruelty is unnescessary and awful, but sometimes just getting things dead is what needs to be done. o.o;
