Hey, I know this is a favourite among many asian drama-watchers. I was just wondering:
What episode your on? What you think of it so far?Who your favourite character/couple? and why?

Synopsis: This second season of Hana Yori Dango picks up right after Domyouji leaves for New York. After confessing to Domyouji, Makino has not spoken to him for a year. Rui and the other members of F4 try and help Makino meet Domyouji again by going to New York for the christmas holidays. Though F4 and Makino meet Domyouji again, he has become a completely different person, and so they leave for Japan.

Some time later, Domyouji's mother annouces that they will be returning to Japan. There, they hold a giant super-rich and classy birthday party for Domyouji and annouce something very important. Domyouji, like in the first season, is engaged to a rich girl and heir. The only difference is that they are to be wed soon. What will Makino do?

On the side, Rui begins to fall in love with Makino... will this become a love... square?

I really didn't like HYD2 all that much, to be honest. Compared to the first season, I thought it kind of sucked. It was too mushy for my tastes. I mean, I like mushy dramas, but they just SLATHERED the entire second season in mushiness.

Also, another thing that I didn't really like about it was the fact that Ikuta Toma (who plays Junpei) was only in one and a half episodes. He's such a good actor, and it was kinda pointless just to have him in for such a short period of time.

But one thing I did like about HYD2 was (in white) seeing Akira's family. He's my favorite character, and after seeing his extremely weird mother ans sisters, I think he definately has a right to like mature women. Akira's new haircut was also a hell of a lot better looking than in the first season.

Hmm.. I havent watched that drama yet, but I have heard about it everywhere.
So, its must be really good, hopefully I'll have time to watch it mrgreen

Tsukushi &Tsukasa are best together...
sweatdrop i watched some of the 2nd season... I sorta got hung on Kurosagi and Propasal Daisakusen.. and sapuri .. so now I can't remember what ep. i'm on... crying and crunchroll doesn't have it any more....
wink but I loved the first one! especially when Tsukushi was in the contest 3nodding

I'm currently on episode 5 of the second season, and I have to say...

I absolutley love this drama, both the first and second seasons. o.o

And Tsukasa's such an idiot. XD

i currently just finished watching it and my favorite parts had to be the dancing scene and the end when she's talking about all the members of F4. I still think that the first season was a lot better because it moved faster than the 2nd one did.

After watching the first episode I have to say that Hana Yori Dango I was much better because back then I remember that I couldn't stop watching it and now I even don't really want to know what will happen. Maybe I became heartless. xp

I wanted Rui and Tsukushi to get together, but I'm fine with Tsukushi with Tsukasa, anyway.

ahaha I couldnt agree more!!!
I found some of the plot twists a little extreme to the point where it was quite laughable.. that was just me though..
I guess it turned into more of a comedy than anything else.. sweatdrop
