The she-wolf moved out from the hollow in the ground and stretched her lithe body. It had been ten moons since she had arrived here and it seemed that the blizzard had been winter's last attempt at angering Spring.
Yet now the grass was here, fresh and green under the glittering sunshine. A few meters ahead the ground flattened out and dipped, down into the bank of a stream. It wound around the trees and banked off between a cut in the rock.
She stood then and raised her head, inhaling deeply as she tried to figure out who was near by. Perhaps she would see Phib again, or maybe another of the males in her packlands. In fact she was in the mood for flirting with any male right now - except her brother of course.
She smiled fondly at thoughts of her little brother and found herself feeling extremely happy that she had found him again. It was like she had been given a new chance.
Miracles do happen. She whispered, before trotting off through the trees, moving as loudly as possible so as to attract attention.

It had been over a month since he had any contact with another wolf, yet, surprisingly, this bothered Yasuo. Before he met Orphen he had lived his life avoiding other wolves, yet after she walked into his life everything changed. He craved for more wolf contact as each day passed and each time no wolf would appear. He had started wandering again, finally ending up on the edge of a pack land-The Outriders. He had paced along the border, wondering if he should enter or not. He didn't know the hierarchy system in this pack since he had been in only one in his entire life.
He had gotten up before the sun had risen above the mountain top and began his daily ritual of pacing along the border again. Surely another wolf was bound to come to him today to invite him inside the strange new pack lands. He wanted someone to notice him, yet his bitter temper prevented him from calling out to someone nearby. He had learned not to trust any other wolf, yet he wanted to trust someone and have someone trust him back.
Deep in his mind, he knew he wouldn’t see the femme again, but deep in his heart he knew that he would someday meet up with Orphen again. He knew that if he didn’t search for her she would someday find him or vice versa. Flicking an ear, he heard the familiar sound of paws heading in his direction. He pricked his ears up slightly, but instead of relaxing his body, he tensed it up. His tail rose up slightly high; he lowered his head down, but didn’t growl. He didn’t want to fight the wolf that was approaching him, but he was curious of the wolf. Was it a friend or a foe-a male or a female? He would know his answer shortly.

As she rounded the corner and appeared from the greenery she paused and scented the air, head raised and nostrils flared wide. Someone was here. Someone was near. Her heart fluttered but she pushed it away and gave a light call, the bark just loud enough to reach the wolf's ears.
Then checking to make sure she maintained her lady-like appearance she trotted elegantly onwards, pushing her way through the undergrowth.
A long, sleek nose came first and then her two brilliant golden eyes.Yasuo! She breathed, trotting towards him with a flirtacious look in her eye. Couldn't stay away, hm? She smiled, and despite her greeting it was obvious she was glad to see him.
Who knows, maybe one day she might allow him to see her true self, rather than this disguise she wore to earn a little affection.

Yasuo caught the scent of a femme and he gazed around with his two-toned eyes, trying to see where the scent was coming from. He heard a light bark from behind an undergrowth before he spotted a muzzle push past the leaves and branches. He tensed his body up as he prepared to dart away if he needed to, but when he saw the eyes of the femme, he froze in place, recognizing the face of the femme.
'Orphen,' he thought to himself. 'How did she get here?' He didn't know that the femme had a pack to go home to. He figured that she was packless like he was. After what happened to him in his old pack he had avoided joining one until he meet Orphen. Seeing a flirtatious look in her eye, he smirked slightly. Bobbing his head down low towards her, he lowered his tail down near his hindquarters, showing her respect and that she held power over him.

Her heart gave a little flip and softly she drew towards him, her scarred muzzle rising to meet his own nose. She snuffled gently and gave him a small lick on the end of her snout.
Well now, what do we have here? She rounded on him, glancing at his fur that shone in the sunlight. She raised her tail and turned her golden eyes towards him. She had only just recently joined this pack, but whether she would stay here for long was anyone's guess. She had a way of falling out with other wolves due to her flirtacious and somewhat hyperactive nature.
Such a handsome male! She drew closer again and nipped at playfully at the air. Hello Yasuo! I didn't think I'd see you so close to pack borders. Though it was clear she was glad to see the male.Maybe now she'd get some attention!
