[kudos if you know where the title is from xD cause I'm a wanderer, I go around around around around...! ] As mentioned before in many instances, Dristi was one happy she-wolf with the winter making way for warmer times. No longer is she sleeping her days away huddled in a hollow from an uprooted tree, or boring herself mindlessly in an abandoned cave. Dris was like a flower, in a sense: when the sun is out, she tingles all over and feels all the energy in the world and longs to see it, but while the sun doesn't show in a matter of a week, she's quickly dwindled down to something reminiscent of a rock. But with that past, she's easily found this peaceful night doing what she does best: wandering. There's always an adventure to wait around the tree stump, and she doesn't want to be the kind of wolf to miss it. Sitting down on a hill, she surveys the land before her: new, unexplored territory [at least, for her]. She sighs a little, taking in this moment with bright, clear eyes. I wonder what lies beyond the rest of these hills..And with that, she's off.

Ieshia felt a tickling senstation fall over her nose. She blew out through her nostriles and peeked open a golden eye. The newly growing grass of spring had been brushing against her snout. The corners of her lips turned upwards slightly and she sat up, pulling her dark ears forward and looking around the area. She was leading a pack now, but they were drifters so it wasn't uncommon that she wander off once and a while. She had done so earlier in the day and decided to take a nap here. She leaned forward, stretching out her front legs before standing up. In doing so she caught an unfamiliar scent on the wind and cocked her head curiously. Mmm? Some new company? Sounded rather nice!

Sprinting across the small meadow, Dristi couldn't help but adore the feel of that same newly-grown grass that tickled Leshia's muzzle rub against her legs. So soft, so alive. Winter is almost over and she can feel it even in the grass! Oh grass, oh.
But something catches her other senses and she slows down, keeping herself alert. It wouldn't be the first time if she was intruding territory lands, and while some don't mind so much and let her run right by them, others...others not so much. It's enough to make this optimistic rogue catious when she smells the scent of another wolf nearby. A second mistake would be disastrous, given to the right holder.
It's a good night, though. Good night, good feelings. It's a night of chances.
And with that in mind, she changes directions and follows the intangible trail towards the unknown.

Finally a violet female came into view and Ieshia couldn't help but grin. She swished her tail in confidence and welcome, calling out to the other wolfess, "Hello there!" Her eyes twinkled with a friendliness that was rare now a days. There was no hostility in her stance nor voice. Instead she had an air about her that was comforting, like a long lost friend. No, this was hardly a wolf that Dristi would get a scolding from for being in territory...not that they were in any.

Spotting Leshia around the same time, she was hardly given time to think about how she was going to go about it when that friendly greeting was thrown out. Catching it, she holds it close and smiles, wagging her tail back. "Allo there!" Her vowels are short and bright, the voice of a wolf who's travelled from fairly far.
She takes this gesture of no-harm and pads up to the new wolf, grinning all the way. "Enjoying this fine night?"
A good night, indeed.

"Indeed I am," Ieshia said, her eyes matching her warm smile. Her stance was tall and confident, but nothing more. There was only friendliness dispalyed in her attitude and a willingness to converse. "I'm asuming you are as well?" she questioned with a shimmer of good-humor reflected in her gold eyes.

"Mm, most certainly." She wags her tail, enjoying the moment. It's not every day, or night in this case, she meets a friendly wolf of a dominant status...which reminds her. Taking a look around at her scenery, she bashfully ducks her head down a little in that respectful manner you're supposed to hold that she always manages to forget when she most desperately needs it. "By the way, thank you for letting me wander around. You have really nice territory." Obviously, she's still under the impression that this is Leisha's land, and who could blame her?

(( <33 It's Ieshia, not Leshia. :3 ))
Ieshia laughed, it being a warm and cheerful sound. She shook her head, her black ears flopping slightly at the movement, "Oh no, no! I don't have any territory. I don't believe this area belongs to anyone." She smiled, giving her tail a reasuring swish. There was nothing for this wolfess to fear. Ieshia was hardly one to ever think of ranks. She had never had them as far as she could remember and she wasn't about to start now. Such formalities only created social barriers, after all.
