Alright everyone. For those who are going to take part in the DnD campaigns by Will and Alliance, you may need to know this. At some point, AIM stopped being as effective as we liked, and we've been looking for a system that permits the use of a whiteboard. OpenRPG does that, and we may be wishing to give it a try. I've put one up, but I decided not to leave it on the full list that just anyone can see, so you'll need to join by IP directly. That said, my IP is 68.41.5.124:6774 so just copy and past that in and you'll be able to join. There's no password or anything unless you want to be DM. I forgot the links to the downloads for it, but I think that Will has those.

I'm not certain if we'll be using it yet, so you'll probably want to talk to the DMs about it. But for the time being I'm going to leave it up so those who want to can test it and get used to it. It's not really complex unless you're a DM or admin, though.

If anyone has any experience with running an OpenRPG server and has some pointers, feel free to tell me. I'm definately still learning, but I have no intention of being a nub on this.

And if anyone has any reason they want to use it, talk to me and I can make you a room. I'm not picky about who uses it, really, so just drop me a PM and I'll hook you up.

Are you offering to run one?

That would require me to have the rulebooks, which would in turn require... money. Which i don't have enough of to be spending on RPG stuff at the moment. Though i really do want to test out the "drama" system in the BtVS PnP RPG, i just can't spring for the cash.

If soemone wants to give me a computerized copy of the Paranoia rulebook, i may be willing to run a game.... I'm quite good at killing characters off in terrible but somehow ironic ways.
