A lot of Volvo stories, huh?
No one here owns a Volvo. It's all BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc. x'DD But our weather is like a weird cross between Phoenix AND Forks.
It's actually crazy. We live by a lake in a small town so it's all "almost everyone knows each other" and really really green and rich.
Our summers are deadly hot and the sun is gorgeous up here.
And THEN we have our winters and autumn and spring. Those are all pretty much exactly like Forks. x'DD
But I like snow. >___> And rain. And sun. And ALL THREE AT THE SAME TIME.

My cousin's middle name is Jasper. I knew that from like, a long time ago, but I forgot. And so when his mother siad it a week ago, I was like, HOLY s**t! And one of my friends name is Angela. Not only that, but in Southbridge, Massachusetts, the name of thier library is Jacob Edwards.

I know this isn't that much of a connection, but when I found out that a kid in my science class was named Edward, I almost flipped out!!!

I have a few connections.
First, the old Dracula movie, ya'know, the classic? Bela as the vampire, Edward as Dr. Helsing. (Nevermind that they're both guys, but the names..)
And history! The Edwardian Period? Guess what? Although it's still argued over, one of the possible end dates for the Edwardian Period is 1918, and always is believed to start at 1901. Freaky, no?
More history.. Prince Edward of England married Princess Isabella of France, they had a son, Prince Edward II. Their son started the Hundred Year War.
Science.. E equals M C squared? Funny story, that not only could stand for the speed of light, but Edward Mason Cullen Junior, (in place of squared). And Edward's the fastest of the Cullens.. It works, in my opinion..
Yeah.. That's about all I have. And I found out all this when I was bored and studying for school.. Well, minus Dracula.. That was just for fun.

Well to Bella, I kinda made a connection with another book that I like, the MC's name was Isabel, like Isabella... and also, my favorite movie, PotC, her name is Elizabeth Swan, that was pretty cool... Other than that... I don't think so.....
And I have no connection to make with Edward.... crying crying crying .
I think that the reason that Stephenie chose those names was because Edward was a very popular name used in books for the hero (like in Jane Austen's books) so it was pretty obvious something would connect.

ok this makes sense to me lol
if u've ever seen the show Roswell ( heart heart heart ) it reminds me ALOT of twilight- so that but also we changed the cd at work and now the theme song for Roswell plays and everytime i hear it i go heart Roswell and twilight lol

Okay my connections aren't with the names....
since i have read Twilight and New Moon (and the first chapter of Eclipse!!!) I have been seeing the words 'Twilight' and 'vampire' EVERYWHERE!
-in Blood+ they mention vampires...cuz the chiropteran drink blood and all...
-the anime .Hack//Legend of the TWILIGHT
-Legend of Zelda: TWILIGHT princess
-HelloGoodbye's album (its something like "aliens, robots, VAMPIRES( heart ))
-VAMPIRE book series-Cirque du Freak
-VAMPIRE book series-Vampire Chronicles
-VAMPIRE book- The Silver Kiss
-VAMPIRE book-Look for me by Moonlight (i think that was the name)
-in the book Look for me by Moonlight, the main character gets in an old VOLVO(!!!!!!!!!!) and she has a PARKA like in Twilight
-and in Look for me by Moonlight her parents split up(like bella's mom and dad) and she was living with her mom, but went to live with her dad because her mom and step dad were MOVING! she goes to live near the beach and there's this cliff that reminds me of La Push... :/

I'm watching this anime, Death Note, and in the opening theme there are TONS of apples. It's kind of symbolic but like the whole thing, in almost every scene, has an apple in it! I was sitting w/my friend, also a twilight reader, while watching it and we both pointed at the computer screen and yelled "TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!" rofl
Also, it's a sad sad day when you're sitting in History class and your teacher is talking about 1907 and you go "Edward was 6....aww...cute little soon to be vampire!!" and all your friend, who heard you, look at you with this face: eek lol

when i read the part in twilight that describes bella's truck,
i immediately connected that to my friend cassie cause her dad has a truck exactly like that.
i was just sitting there reading, and out of nowhere i said "omg! that is so freakin amazing!"
and about 20 people turned and gave me a really weird look, like eek
[i was reading in class and i was supposed to be doing a test. *i was already done*
thankfully the teacher wasn't in the room or i would have been in trouble. xD]

i drive a silver volvo! and alot of the kids in my highschool's twilight fanclub had begun to look at me with new curiosity......it all started a few months ago....
i was getting out to my car to leave at lunch cuz i never eat, and the kids from the club, (that i didn't knew existed or else i would have taken it over) were staring at my car, and my self. sorta creeped me out so i got in, put the damn thing in reverse, and waved as i pulled out of the parking lot. i overheard one kid say, "she moves like alice!" no suprise when he asked me to homecoming as his date a few days later! xp so now i'm the vampire girl. and they all ask me what my diet consists of. i mean, come on guys! for real?

one time we were going to a mexican reurant and we were walking threw the line when I saw a guy with a book in his hand I was bored so I tried to see what it was. when I did I just started laughing. I had heard there were guy twilight fans but I had never seen one.

oh! i was looking at my ipod one day and i noticed that the apple had like..a bite out of it! i was like "omg!!! twilight!!!" lol (not sure if someone already mentioned this buuuut... to bad razz )

I was watching Psych (which everyone should watch, but thats beside the point) and there was a murder case involving mountain lions.
The whole time I was glued to the TV, and my parents couldnt figure out why... whee

OMG when the volvo comercial comes on i go TWILIGHT! whee wouldnt it would be funny if after the movie they changed the commerical and added the man who would play edward into it ahah id laugh at that rofl
