what happened to Flik and Victor were they just wrote off or something Ive played all suikoden games.

They went on an aimless journey, fought in the Higheast Rebellion, and then went off and did stuff. You'd know that if you payed attention in S2's credits.
Either way, Flik-n-Viktor are cool, but who says we can't have other characters?

Dude, by the time S3 rolls around, Viktor's like ******** 60 or something. I don't really see him dashing around the battlefield with a huge sword anymore. And Flik's only a little younger.
They couldn't be in S4 because it was 100+ years before 1. And they couldn't be in S5 because Flik was still a teen in the Warrior's Village and Viktor should have been tooling around Jowston trying to find Neclord.

Well Maximillian was running around Suiko 2 and he's over 60. Age is but a number. With both Flik and Viktor's personalities, they'd probably be adventuring till they die.

Viktor was 29 in the first Suikoden, making him 32 in Suikoden II(+3 years), and 47 during the events of Suikoden 3. (=15 years) Flik was 25 in the first one therefore 28 in the second, and 43 during 3. That's not too old.

And there are plenty of other cool characters. Viktor and Flik aren't the only cool people in the whole series. I hate when people make them out to be so amazingly cool. Or gangsta. I honestly don't understand their appeal. I like them, but I know they're not as gangsta as me.

There are alot of great characters. And don't say Georg Prime either. Good lord, there's more badass characters out there. Chikuu, you should send in your character in for the next Suikoden. Be all GaNgStA and ShIzNiZ.

Well, I'm a Luc fan, and he was in three games then went out with a bang so I'm happy. And gotta love how Viki manages to make it into every game. lol.
