If you fish a lot, keep your medium and large fish in good stock. Sell the small fish to the store but sell the medium/large fish to the vend. There are quite a bit of people who buy these fish from the vend without fishing so that they can get the items quicker. I suggest selling medium fish 10 at a time and large fish 3 at a time.
Going along with other fishing items, keep your trash [cans, boots, and tires] and sell in the Game Item Exchange sub-forum. Cans normally go for 5-7 gold a can and many are often going for the Tin Hat. Boots and Tires go for around the same price as their store sell back prices, give or take a piece of gold.
You might want to invest in Sealeds as well, but that's an give or take investment -- it all depends on what the items are and if you still have the letters unopened. Keep the letters unopened and wait a few months -- if the items are worth more then the unopened letter, open the letter with the most popular item and sell it. If the unopened letter is worth more then the items, keep the letter unopened.

For fast gold in the MP, it's a matter of being at the right place at the right time - and to have your password on your clipboard ready to paste when that deal comes up, because it will go fast.
Sorting items by time remaining is a great way to find bargains. I especially love it when people do 1000 bid increments. It works against them.
Say sealed are going for 13.5K. Find someone who's doing a bid with 1000 gold increments and bid 12.6K. No one is likely to outbid you and you'll make about 1000 gold profit (if the seller doesn't cancel.)
There are lots of sellers who like to go as much as 1000 below the lowest price for a fast sale. Their stuff goes fast. You gotta refresh the page a lot - LOL, until Gaia tells you you're refreshing too fast (that's happened to me before.)
I try to concentrate on just a few specific items so I don't get so confused that I'm not sure if I'm seeing a bargain or not.

I haven't checked that out yet. Is it not an extra click to the item? Because the deals I go for - they're usually gone in 30 seconds or less. If I don't immediately click buy now and immediately paste my password and go, it's gone.

I'd say play slots or cards whatever game that can earn you tickets.
The price is double the amount of the tickets. ((Or something like that))
