I didn't see anything about quitting methods, so I'll go ahead and post.
My husband has tried Zyban (Wellbutrin) before, but he had a very nasty reaction where it almost caused seizures with him. Unfortunately, patches and gum do not work very effectively for him.
My mother mentioned Chantix as a new prescription for quitting (she is having lipo/tummy tuck and has to quit for it), it's a tapered down dosage as you do, you can take it for 12 weeks, then for an additional 12 if needed.
Wondering if anyone had any experience with this one or heard of it as well.

I may not know anything about Chantix or any other methods to stop drugs. But i do know that family and friends impact alot on how well you recover. heart

Hmm, I'd like to know too. Wellbutrin was helping curve cravings, but it sped up my heart rate and I was told to cut it off right away, for the same reason, risk of seizures.
