Do you believe.

Just because you cannot see me,
does not mean I am not there
for in every innocent mind I lurk
quiet and distilled,
waiting for their need to arise.

I live in their tiny heads,
them fussing to find me,
me worrying they may never succeed.
They are young,
boundless,
fruitful,
worriless,
and through them, I do live.

So if you doubt my existence at all,
it is but your fault,
because when I do come out,
oh the fun that will be had,
and you will most definitely feel left out.

Seeing is not believing,
My friend,
The owner of a purified child,
So do not doubt that I am not there,
And do not punish the weak because they can see,
Who I really am.

Do not accuse them of insanity,
or break their childhood innocence by telling them Santa is not real,
Because I will be there like a knight to a queen
Protecting what has become my own,
My guardian,
My new life.

Spirit Imaginary

The young at heart and feeble at mind often look to companionship of another sort, when confronted with the, many times pitiful, situation where they lack true, human friends. By this, I mean imaginary pals, who settle in a place in ones mind, keeping said person preoccupied from the real world, where all their troubles truly lie. This imaginary friend, no matter how fake at times people may think they are, serve as a safe heaven for those who lack there of otherwise. A tangible area where happiness and friendship stand side by side, hand in hand.

Name: Rosha
Gender: Female
Spirit: Imagination
Personality: Rosha is overall the perfect friend. She is forever by her companions side, whenever said companion needs it. However, Rosha has a tendency to get people in trouble, through wicked games she likes to play, and though she cannot phsycially suffer from the hits that child may get, she can emotionally feel them.
Eye color/shape: Rosha has large eyes, that are expressive with her mood. They also have a slant, which is slight, that adds to her elusive, mischievous appearance. The eye color is a very light brown.
Skin: Skin tone is moderately tanned, though it does not look artificial, as if she just went out and got some sun, but natural.
Hair color/length:Hair color is a dark, dark, rich purple with strikes of silver scattered about the tips, if not just scattered every which way. It is also extremly, extremly long--though the picture I drew did her no justice.
Extra: Rosha has a piercing in the center of her chin, [which is bright silver] as well as three earrings about her left ear. [This is all as a youthful child too, if acceptable.] She likes to wear anything she can get her hands on, and isn't too much into fashion; though she does like the frilly, hip looking outfits kids wear now a days. Rosha also wears black gloves, through out her baby, childhood, teenage, and adult years. And ontop of having a Crocodile tail, Rosha also sports very, very tiny wings on her back and two long feathered "horn" like structures on her head; both are colored black with white flecks.

Likes: Playing games, drinking soda, parties, getting her hair done, giving massages, tickles and laughing.
Dislikes: Flies, icky stuff, stiffs, getting lied to, getting left behind.
Hobbies: Playing devilish tricks, scheming with Anna, playing video games, basically running a muck.
Abilities: Much of Rosha's power comes from those who believe. If one does not believe in such things, like what Rosha is, then her form is invisible to them. She is also emotionally attached to her child, in that she comes and goes whenever she likes, but knows when her companion is in danger, sad, lonely--the like.

Species: American Crocodile, Horned Owl, Human.

History: Depending on how a Spirit is 'raised', is much like how Rosha's history is to begin. Though, point blankly, one is produced in the spirit realm, stuck there just until the point when they are summoned, and then brought to where ever it is they are needed, details dig deeper then simply that. Unlike some spirits, who are called forth by scrolls, or any other maddness that they are retrieved, an Imaginary friend is called by tears.

Tears of course brought by a child, or anyone who may believe that there are better people out there then just those who live on their planet. That is were Rosha came into play, and that is how Rosha was born into the human world.

So let's talk about Rosha, or more or less her blend in species.
Obviously, Rosha doesn't have physical "parents" so a Crocodile and an owl did not mate and form a human mutant.
However, it is probably best to know the ins and outs of her species, for most of the time it develops in her personality.

The Owl

User Image
Describtion: Great Horned Owls are mainly classified for their large, feathery "ear tufts" that are located on the tops of their heads. These birds range in color from brown, to white, and the females often times are larger then the males.

Diet: It is known that a Horned Owl can eat things three times as heavy as itself, and often time stalk from above, and swoop down to catch their prey. For the majority, Great Horned Owl's eat meat, and their prey vary on a grand scale.

Great Horned Owls have been seen in particular area's ranging from Deserts, to forests, and so it tells their adaptability fluctuates, and is tolerant of different, and extreme climates.

Rosha is roughly 20% Great Horned Owl.

The Croc

American Crocodiles(Crocodylus acutus) are considered endangered, and are listed as such. Their population is limited, and they are threatened primarily by hunters in search for their thick hide, skulls, and meat.

Describtion: One thing to note is that the snouts of a Crocodile is very different from the Alligator. Though in misconception, people mistake the two, there is a distinct difference in the length, and thickness of the noses. For a Crocodile, it is long and slender, and for an Alligator, it is thicker and stunted. Adult Crocodiles can stretch out to 7 to 15 feet long and weigh 150 to 450 pounds and are found in fresh/salt waters[mixed].

Diet: They eat just about anything they can get their jaws around. Aquatically, it is limited to fish, crabs, and the mammals/birds that linger around the canals.

Rosha is roughly 10% Crocodile. This leaves 70% to human form.

Interesting! The style you drew her chibi in is very cute.

I'm curious - what made you link the croc and the horned owl to "imagination"?

x3 Thank you!!!

I was really just thinking of Alice and Wonderland. I am not really sure why, but a lot of things came to life [like brooms and plants] and some things were yanked together [the cards with human characteristics] so it just led me to the Croc and Horned owl idea

I also had Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh stuck in my mind as well. >:{
