Does anyone know exactly how to go about getting an internship somewhere?
I could use some advice in this department...

I would like to know as well. Although I remember talking to a graphic designer at my school. She told me that you could find internships on the internet. Of course, you could find anything on the internet. I googled a couple "graphic design internship" and found a couple of sites. Hope it helps:

Well in case you haven't found one by now. (Which you may have judging by your last post) I'd say go with Craigslist.org. A lot of internships are posted on there because it's free and allows them a wide exposure.

Just pick your city, and check under "part time" or "art/media/design jobs". And if you decide to post your resume, remember not to post any contact besides your email, as you'll get scams by the arm loads. xd

I just noticed this thread myself. I guess it's a bit late to ask this, but I feel I should ask a few questions of you before I offer up any sort of advice;
Where are you in your schooling(College/University, High School, Jr High)?
What exactly are you looking for as an intern?
Do you have a resume & references available?
