I know there is music performances planned for all four days of the convention, plus the major Music Fest concert on Saturday evening.
Yes, MusicFest is always held across the street from the convention center in the Civic Auditorium (I think that's what it's called? It's the same place the Masquerade is at). They just started having the other concerts last year, and that goes on at Stage 1, which is behind the karaoke room...they moved the dance to there last year too.
