Well, this sure was a downer. Today had been going so well, and now here was this guy, who seemed like he was about to exsplode with tension.
"Look, Nick, I don't know what exactly is going on with you, but why don't you just say what it is? Scream at me for all I care. Ths petulant child thing is just annoying."

Contrary to how he was acting, Nick was fully aware of how annoying he got when he was like this. He was just unable to talking about, he always was, it didn’t matter who he was trying to talk to, it would always be the same. He just couldn’t help it.
“L-look, just leave me alone, okay?” he said forcefully, finally removing his forearm from his face, showing his tear soaked cheeks for all to see.

Great, he'd made the guy cry. Way to go, Ryan. He may have confessed that he'd stopped caring, but that was only relating to being an animal. He didn't want to make others feel bad.
"...Sorry. I was just trying to cheer you up a bit." Should he push it? Try and talk the guy some more? Ah hell, he didn't feel like getting up and leaving right now. If the guy didn't want to talk, then he could go.
"So, umm, anything I can help with?

“I must look so pathetic right now” He avoided looking directly at Ryan for a few awkward moments. But he was apologising, at least this guy was putting up with him a bit more than other people had in the past.
“No…” he said bluntly “T-theres nothing”

Nick knew he was being a downer right now, but he couldn’t help it, he was very emotional at the moment.
“I…UI know your trying to help….j-just don’t, please…I’m going to leave now…” without anything else, he started walking off towards the village, barely acknowledging Ryan’s presence anymore.

Ryan waved. "'Kay, see you later, most likely."
With the newbie gone, Ryan stood up, and headed back towards the water. He came for a swim, he was going to get one.
((I guess that's a wrap. this whole thing kinda petered out.))
