Sine we see how Anti Raoul ALW is, I am predicting the play will go like this:
Christine feels bad for Erik, so she leaves Raoul to go back to him. Raoul gets amd and goes to put a bullet into Erik's brain, but he accidentally shoots Christine, because that's what Webber wants.
So, discuss: Sequel? Plot Predictions and whatever else you find relevant.

It is difficult to predict, but I think that Christine will leave Raoul, and go back to the Opera House. She will not love Erik, but I think that they will come to some sort of understanding.

Well since the sequal is going to be off on Phantom of Manhatten which was written as a sequal to the musical anyway, I see it more like the entire thing is Erik luring Christine back once he knows they had a son together and that idiot Darius, Erik's creepy ward/worker boy, trying to dash the plans to hell for greed.
And the way PoM is written, Raoul doesn't show up at all until just about the very end.

Why? sweet Goddess why? The singing in the movie Phantom was a lamentable mess. Gerard did't have the range for the Phantom and Emily didn't have the support. I walked out the theatre. I have been training to be an opera singer for two years now and I still can't watch that movie. They completely futsed up my musical.

FINALLY!!! somebody understands what I have been saying about the movie. I completely agree, they screwed up the musical and the actors were not right for the roles. They were mediocre, but for a musical like that, you do need to have people that have been trained.

I simply cannot abide anything less than that standard. Hell, the musical was written for Sarah.

If I had to change ONE friggin' thing about the 2004 Phantom movie, I'd replace Gerard Butler with Michael Crawford and all will be good for me! *gasms by the thought*

Utakan Well aside from Crawford being about in his 60's... confused He's still a God in our book. And being such a physical actor, he could still do Phantom in his current age and still be the greatest Phantom that has ever graced our genrations. surprised Sir Crawford's voice is beyond divine and heavenly. (and since it's St. Patrick's Day, i have a bit of a theory that Michael is Irish.)

He could be 80 and I would still want him to sing.
