am i the only one here who likes thick necks better then slim necks??? ive hated every ibenez ive touched because of the neck being way to skinny(and cheap wood).

No, I agree. I can never seem to change chords fast enough because the thinner necks shift in my hand.

yup, i hate that, it feeels like theres nothing to support my hand. and to be hinest when i shred i like to have a nice full neck in my hands, it helps me play better

it dont matter me much on the neck , only if its bent or bowed too much . But am cool with both . Am more worried in the tone of the guitar abit more .

I agree. I'm just started out on guitar but two or 3 months ago. But I got an Ibanez uhh...don't know the model or whatever, but the other day I tried a uhh...I think it was a Dean (once again not sure of the model) and it had a thicker neck. I like the feel much better....expecially 'cause it was about the perfect size for my hand. Easier to slide your hand up and down the fretboard if it's a thicker neck...for me that is.

yea, i prefer gibson and fender necks over ibanez necks. It's just uncomfortable to play on for me 3nodding

I tend to go with thinner necks more, so I can use my thumb while playing.
Other than that, I don't really care which.

i liek necks with good finish, not too small either, so liek you can play and its' smooth but doesn't stick to you when you get sweaty and stuff

It sort of depends what I'm doing, i prefer smaller necks for picking and thick ones for chords.

I prefer the mid size necks for guitars, and my Ibanez doesnt have a skinny neck, and, I really like my basses with thin necks.
