I think the reason no ones heard of Macross or Gatchamon because they were released under different names.
Macross - Robotech
Gatchamon - G-Force
I'm not sure why, but I guess it's due to American standards. They change the name to make it seem more flashy or cooler. Kind of like how some anime characters names are changed to seem "more appropriate" for American viewers.

yeah i know, it's like the people who translate are trying to confuse us XD they sit and think, "how could we possible make this more confusing?" "I know! we could give each show two names!" idea razz

Well Macross is just a Saga underneath the Entire Robotech Seires. They probally just shortened it to make it easier. But I do remember some old shows like The Ronin Worriors, Reboot, Gundam, Outlaw Star, Samurai X (Ruronini Kenshin when he wasnt afraid to Kill). Oh my gosh I cant belive I have forgot about Black Water I remember watching a bit into that show it was pretty cool.

I remember Reboot and watching the episodes where Enzo turned into an adult with the game sprite. personally i like him better as an adult rather than a kid

yeah ronin warriors was a good show too i remember watching as well as Gundam Wing and DBZ on toonami before toonami started sucking @$$

also theres soul eater which is kinda liek bleach but a bit diffrent if u like bleach than you should check it out
