I used to be extremely introverted, but since coming to college, that's changed a little. I'm still pretty shy, and usually I have to repeat myself to be heard.
Before a show, I'm in character so it's dependent on the character on whether or not I'll be loud in the wings (usually not, would not want to piss off the director, stage manager, and fellow actors).

Okay so It was backstage of Thoroughly Modern Millie and I still had my mike on, but it was like three scenes after my scene, and I hear the scene change music, which for some strange reason was Maria from West Side Story...anyway I started singing it for fun...anyway some weird cross-wire effect happened to where my mike magically came on (I found out that a techie pushed it accidentally reaching for a drink in the booth) so my voice comes on the speakers singing with the music...although it could have been worse...I could have been a bad singer...

If I was in the audience I would have died laughing. That is why we shouldn't have food or drink in the booth... of corce we DO but we shouldn't..

During shows at the community theatre, the crew is pretty sedate. But before a show, if we have nothing to do, we all crowd over by the ASM and talk pretty quietly about a bunch of random stuff.
At my school, though, everyone is always talking. During shows the techies and the actors kind of get into our small little social groups and have random conversations, as high schoolers tend to do.
After shows, though... Oh man! We're all crazy high on the show! (Except the actors. They're actually high.) We go to the Hi-Way Diner and eat and talk until the sun comes up, or we go to a park and play frisbee for hours and hours.

people say I'm too quiet to bre a theatre person. I like being known for my talent and work than my mouth. I'm like that at school too. But when I'm around my really good friends and family, i'm completely the oppisite.

I did the chlothing changes in the las show and some other stuff backstage like helping with the wigs and the props. During the rehearsal one of the kids had his mic still on while he was in the dressing room. He screamt something like ''I HAVE TO UNDRESS, LOOSE THE T-SHIRT'' and everyone could hear it. Luckily it was a rehearsal biggrin
