"Nice eyes you got there," Riven managed, then laughed again. "I have no idea how one DOES this. Nobody writes about it in the encyclopedia! Only in those... funny floppy-covered pink books Mom occasionally sees in HQ. She hates those." Moving to the side a bit, he sort of picked Ghlyssa up and turned her around, facing in the direction he thought Sunny's house was in before putting her down gently. "Speaking of Guardians... did you decide...? You wouldn't kiss me and fade, would you?"

Ghlyssa nodded. "Sunny is my guardian now. Officially and for good. It's sort of strange, still." She smiled, embarrassed. "And I don't know what I'm doing, either. I don't really know anything about... kissing and stuff..."

"I don't know anything either," Riven admitted. "My mom would never tell me. In fact, I'm not sure I should tell her. She'd probably scream in my ear." He cringed in anticipation. "I'm not sure if it'd be happy screaming or not, either... well." He looked up at the stars again; the sky was beginning to slowly cloud over. "The moonlight will go soon. We should, too. Can I take you home, I guess?"

Riven grinned again and pulled the cloak so that it hung over her a bit, and they set off. "I bet Bronnie likes having you be her sister. She seemed nice. I know Miss Sundraygn is nice. My Guardian knew her a long time ago, I think... wait. What is this?" He blinked at the patches of white stuff starting to appear as they got closer to the house. "What IS that?"
((Riven's never seen snow, and it's not snowed at Sosi's house. XD; Just say Gaia has weird weather because of all the free-floating magic.))

((Yeah, Gaia definitely has weird weather. xd ))
"It's snow. There was a little bit of earlier. Some of it melted. It fell from the sky and it was really strange." Ghlyssa peers at it, half-baffled at it herself. "Bronnie keeps trying to make snowmen, but it doesn't work. Sunny says there isn't enough of it yet."

"Huh. So that's snow." He would have bent down to sample some, except he was FAR too comfortable with Ghlyssa tucked in next to him like that. "Mom says it'll do that all over when it gets colder. I can't wait to see."
The lights of Sun's house came into view through the trees. "Ah... there we go. Guess we didn't get lost after all," he teased.

Darn. Home already? Ghlyssa would have been quite happy had the walk gone on longer. "Well, I'm glad we didn't get too lost. I'm really glad I found you, though."

"I'm glad I found you, too." He floated with her up to the door, then reluctantly untangled her from his own cloak. "Found you in more than one way, I think." He brushed at her hair one last time. "Use that silly phone-thing if you need me? For anything. I'll drop everything. Promise."

"I don't think you need to do quite that much," Glee said in surprise. She clung a little longer to Riven before letting go. "But I will. I promise."

"G'night, then," he said, smiling, and giving her a quick squeeze before releasing her completely. He bobbed out into the yard, then turned around and waved and watched to make sure she got inside okay before drifting back into the forest, heading for his own house.

Ghlyssa waved, and rather reluctantly, opened the door and slipped inside.
That was most likely the best walk in the woods in her entire life.
