She reached out and touched it, her dream, The smooth surface that reacted with cool ripples, Extending and rebounding.
She saw through the mirror the girl she once was, She saw in her heart the girl she had become.
Two sides of the mirror, she thought with a sigh, As she looked sadly on, gazing at the one staring right back in her eyes.
Their fingers met as she reached out, The surfaces mingled, as cold as steel, smooth and unblemish throughout.
And they both watched as the ripples formed, disfiguring them, Each wishing they could jump through to the other side. Jump through the mirror, and escape reality once again.

A few spots with either tense mistakes or spelling mistakes.

Not to seem arrogant but I feel my poem 'In The Mirror, Behind My Eyes' helped inspired this and if so i am complemented, so Thank You beforehand. btw nice work biggrin
