I love all kinds of music, rock is probably my favorite just because i believe what I call "good rock" is some of the hardest music ever to write. Heavy Metal you can wing a solo if you screw up nobody notices because each note only matters like 1/2500th of a song. Rock if you miss a note in a solo it's like 1/750. Plus singing in metal requires (-) that much talent in alot of cases.
Metal and Rock are my favorites I play both on guitar and bass. Top favorite bands right now are Skid Row, Nickelback, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Casting Crowns.
