Things were progressing well, much like the Unamed God had intended. Or so Lilith had assumed. Though her pack was built on lies and carnal pleasures it did seem like SOMEONE'S good blessing was shining down on them. The dark alpha quickened her step, her paws hitting the ground hard as if attemptnig to kick the earth wrong side up while her head was held high, let her reign begin. Of course now it wasn't solely hers, but that was okay, the majority was and in fact 99.9% was hers, she was convinced of this, and no one would tell her any differently.
But she still needed more. The pack was getting bigger, but that's why she needed another alpha, because it was just wasn't big enough. She wanted a whole world to rule over, she was as greedy as the day was long, but no one knew this. No this was just some quiet stillness that reflected in whatever motivations she had inwardly. For now she could present herself anyway she wanted to. And who would there be to question or call her out on this factor? No one, that was who. She stopped suddenly and quirked her head up high, nostrils flickering as her tongue scraped across her teeth behind her lips.
There was someone nearby.

Soft green jaws gaped open. Oh the torture that is boredum. Why does life choose to do harm on its followers? She wished she knew the answer, and that she could correct that annoying tidbit. She did nothing wrong, so why should she be punished in such a way?!
Zryte's ear twitched out of contempt, as she eyed the ground with distaste. The wolf was lying flat across the earth, not moving even an inch for quite some time. She had no reason to move, even if she wished she did. There was no reason to use up any of her energy right now. Her tail passed back and forth lightly in the air, barely touching the dirt beneath her, as if it were trying to wear off some of her strength. Maybe it was an attempt to get her tired so her thoughts were so... disdainful.
Hey, it wasn't her fault she had nothing to do! Living life outside of a pack didn't suit her, she knew that, but what else was she to do? She had no pack, thus no one to entertain her, and it's not like someone were going to come walking up to her and ask her to join their's. Hah, what a joke!
She paused, nose tipping into the wind momentarily. For a moment, she thought she could scent someone nearby, which would have pleased her to a great extent, but the smell was gone as quickly as it had come. Either the wind changed direction or whoever it was was quite some ways away. Could it be someone she knew? Well, the only real person she knew nowadays was her sister and that wouldn't be fun at all. Who wants to see someone they already know?
But then, beggers can't be choosers.
