Radcliffe signed for the final two Harry Potter movies, even though he bared it all in the play "Equus". The seventh book will be released on July 21st, and it's to be titled "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".

The Deathly part of it certainly does not bode well. But "Hallow" means holy, so that has it's own implications... eek

I can't wait either^_^
My grandma said she read an article and it stated that JK Rowling said a few of the main characters could die off.

I know, the last book had me almost crying... I've heard alot of rumors that Harry gets killed, and the few other rumors have said it's either Harry, Hermonie, Ron or possibley Hagrid, but everyone seems to theink its going to be one of the main 3 kids.... which would blow...

lol, mabey she'll figure 'hey I've made hella bank from the last 6 books and movies, now that I have money and a family I don't have time for books anymore so let me just put out a 5 page book where everyone dies and voldermort wins and be done with it'....

Someone did bring up a interesting point to me awhile ago when the HP books were being discussed somewhere else. JK hadn't finished writing the books when the movies started and after the movies Potter-mania blew up and they sell Harry Potter everything now so she is making lots of money now, could having so much money have possibley made her alter how these last few books were going to be writen? When discussing this with people it was brought up that she could have plaaned to keep going with these books at first and just said there were only to be 7 just in case they bombed or people lost intresrt part way through and making so much money has changed her mind to end at 7 so she can live out the rest of her life never working again. Then someone else brought up what if she had planned on ending it at 7 but decided since she's making so much money she should alter her original story to make her more money in the long run and just surprise the world with an ending that leaves it open.

Think about this, it was sapossed to be 7 books for 7 years of school but then Dumbledor was killed off and Harry decided no more school so mabey all of his post-school adventures won't fit into one last book if he survives it.... but on the same subject of Dumbledor dying what if she never planed on killing him off orginally, what if he was saposed to live and everyone was going to finish school in the 7th book along with voldermort coming to the school to have the final showdown? but then decided since she was making so much cash from these books mabey she should alter it to where it can keep going after the 7 years of school... I dunno, just a few arguments from diffrent sites and different people that I thought I'd share...

I heard that she came up with idea when she was stuck on Londons version of BART or Subway with nothing to do and it was originally an idea for her kids but she worked on it all the time durring her trips on the subway-thingy-ma-bob and then ta-da! out came the first book
which she released as J.K. Rowling because she didn't want people to see her first name cause she thought it wouldnt do as well if people knew a femake wrote it....
