 Art by TLB (me)

Name : Kin
Means : Golden
Nicknames : Kinzi, Kinny
Spirit : Sunshine
Favorite colors : Yellow, green, pink, blue
Favorite word : truckie
Eye color : An egg-yolk-like yellow or gold
Skin color : A nice tan
Hair style & color : A bright, happy yellow color with a few white streaks and fewer orange ones. Straight hair with a decent amount of volume and frizz that evens out as she grows (so, like, when she's a baby, her hair will be a giant, fluffy, blonde mop).
Body Type : Because Kin loves working out, she has quite a few muscles. However, she will stop growing around five feet and two inches (so she can't be a model) and will have, thoughtout her life, a slight lack of curves.
Favorite Style of Clothing : Tanks, jeans, khakis, anything that you'll see at the beach. Isn't such a fan of winter clothes.
Other things : A faint birthmark that's like a scribble of the sun towards the upper-right part of her foreheard. A little halo of light circles around her left wrist.
Likes : Critters, plants, meats, meeting and leading people, designing clothes, drawing, veggies, things that sparkle and shine, candy, Australian slang, working out and surfing.
Dislikes : The dark, milk, messy foods, bad weather, writing thank-you cards, homework, gray skies, working hard, blues music and combing her hair.
Personality : Kin is like one those Japanese bean-curds (ya know, the white, doughy ones) that you bite into and are suddenly overwhelmed with an intense, sweet flavor. This little girl and a bean-thing are similar because when this little kid is spoken to, you think you'll be talking to a nice normal little girl, just like you think the bean-food will be a mildly-sweet delight, but from the moment you say 'hi' to her you'll be bombarded with gossip, stories, questions, opinions and menusha. Kin loves to talk about everything, dogs, clouds, emotions, politics, wine, you name it. If she knows someone for a while, though, she tends to calm down around them a tad.
A little problem with Kin is that when she's not in a group or with people, she becomes super clingy and will start freaking out. She really likes to be with people all the time and can be super protective (except when it's time for beddy-weddy, then she wants to be alone goes straight to sleep).
The sunshine spirit is very strong both mentally and physically. She can take the lead and be an extremely dedicated worker. She will step into the unknown and help people if she feels it's the right thing to do. These traits make her a natural born leader, but she can become a little hot-headed when faced with criticism about her tactics. She will always stick to her decisions.
Kin is like a child about romance and won't really get into it until her teen years. Even when she does start having crushes, if you date her, it'll be like dating a five-year-old. She'll giggle if you flirt, and her face will seem to be in an eternal blush. She'll always have a shyness about love, and it'll never go away.
Basic Strengths
Athletic : Kin really likes making herself stronger physically. She considers working out to be fun and exciting. She wants to continue to improve herself and be the best she can be. Her favorite sports are surfing, weights, and basic exercises such as sit-ups and push-ups.
Social : The sunshine spirit loves people and wants to be in the center of every group. She likes to have everyone in the conversation (even if Tea doesn't approve of some people) and insists on getting along with everyone. She believes it's her job to make everyone feel comfortable and part of the conversation.
Is a Good Leader : Kin is a natural born leader, and can be as hard on people as a mean platoon leader, or as helpful as a teacher. Depending on the situation, she'll act differently, but will stand by her decisions no matter what. She will always stand by her decisions when she makes them, but will admit if she made a wrong one afterwards.
Determined : When Kin wants something, she wants it. She will work hard to get it. If it means doing extra chores, she'll be like a fulltime maid, if it means practicing an instrument, she'll practice until her fingers bleed. Whatever she has to do to get what she wants, she'll do it.
Brave : Kin is very brave. She will face just about any fear with good reason. She can determine the line between courage and stupidity. Because of her sense of courage, she is willing to try new things despite how scary they may look. This is one of her strongest traits.
Basic Weaknesses
Easily Bored : Sitting still or working at just one thing for a long time just upsets and frusterates Kin. It makes her cranky and upset, even as an adult. People have to work hard to keep her attention.
A Tad Masculine : Although this drives Kin to work out and be strong mentally, it also makes her a tad gruff. She can treat people roughly without really knowing. Sometimes, it can get to the point where she's intimidating someone and won't back down.
Can't Shut Up : One of Kin's major problems is that she can't stop talking to new people. Even though she'll ask for input on things and will ask questions, she can't close the hole on her face from which sounds emit. She won't necessarily talk about herself, but about anything that crosses her mind.
Clingy : People must be around Kin all the time. If she's by herself in a public area, she'll freak out and believe she doesn't have any friends. The thought terrifies her and in this situation, causes her to attach to anyone, even a stranger, in the proximity.
Shyness in Relationships : When in a romantic relationship, Kin's feminine side will come out and she will blush and act like a pre-schooler being seduced by a classmate. She will act shy to the extent where it just gets on her partner's nerves. Not good for dating.
Abilities :
Supah Grow - A long term effect Kin has on living things (animals, people, plants, etc.) that causes them to become stronger and healthier (and provide them with a bit of a tan as well) if they spend a lot of time with her.
Glowin' - Around miday, Kin's skin has a faint radiance.
Sunshine Creation - Kin has the magical ability to create sunshine. She can send a beam of pretty much the same thing as sunlight from her palm or any other part of her body that isn't covered.
Clairvoyance - This only happens during the daytime and if Kin is drawing. Kin can see what's happining in places far away (like Japan), but when she's having a clairvoyant vision, she's pretty much looking through the sunlight's eyes and has to draw the place as she sees it in the vision. If she doesn't, she won't remember what she saw. Also, if the place she wants to see has dark skies or is at night, Kin won't be able to see anything except for the color gray.

Name : Tea Lily-Bell (goes by Tea or Lily-Bell most of the time)
Race : Enchantress (a woman who can enchant stuff)
Age : 27
Gender : Female
Eyes : large,brown, Asian
Hair : Black, short and curly
Occupation : Wedding planner and babysitter
Basically what Tea does for her job is she helps people plan every aspect of their weddings. This involves finding a caterer, a location, and basically making pretty much all the decisions for the bride. Her business is extremely successful so she makes more enough money to pay the bills.
Personality : Spoiled, lazy, but creative, all the traits found in the daughter of a successful con-artist, which is exactly what Tea is. She's quite a flirt with men and has even tried to steal away the grooms-to-be from their fiancees a couple of times. Of course, she tries to do this as sneakily and inconspiculously as a spy entering enemy territory, but there are times when she can steal them away for an evening and get them back to their fiancees in the morning without having their partner know.
Tea loves children. She babysits for low wages when she isn't working on a wedding. The only problem she has with children is when they start to cry from pain, when they do, it breaks her heart. This causes her to cry within forty-five minutes with them and make the situation worse. Despite this, some parents will leave her with her kids even after coming home to teary-eyed kids and a teary-eyed babysitter.
The House
The wedding planner lives in a large, white, two-story house perched on top of a hill that looks out onto the beach. There's a garden in the back and a garage as well as a large, tall apple tree.
There are catacombs beneath the house that Tea is to afraid to check out.
Family :
Ya-ya and Tortoise Lily-Bell : Tea's parents and two very infamous con-artists who are known for the Candle Scandel of '72 in which the two claimed that they would deliver antique candles, used since pretty much the beginning of time, through the mail to customers for a pound of silver. Of course, candle-collectors around the world were more than willing to get their hands on these lighting-tools. So pounds of silver came pouring into the Lily-Bell house and in return, the Lily-Bells (who had no candles) claimed that the candles must have gotten lost in the mail when asked why the deliveries never made it. Eventually, people found out that Ya-ya and Tortoise were lying and the couple was arrested for the horrible lie they made up just after Tea was born. Tea spent most of her life with her aunt, Coalie. Her parents are now on parole.
Aunt Coalie : The woman who took care of Tea until she went to Wedding-Planner School. Likes funky, bright 60's colors and extravagent accessories. Applies a ton of lipstick and make-up to face. Very nice, funky, and bright. Kin's rolemodel.

(drastic changes may come and go)
This was gnarly.
Tea never had pear-orange juice before. In fact, she didn't even know it existed, but as she held the coffee mug filled to the brim with the liquid in her hand, she knew the concotion would soon be in her tummy. It smelled terrible, looked terrible, and would probably taste terrible too, but people do all sorts of things to pay the bills, and this was one of them.
Miss Terra and her fiancee Charlie sat on a bright, white couch just a few feet in front of Tea, smiling like a couple of Stepford wives. Miss Terra insisted that Tea have some of their company's new product, hybrid juice. Which, of course, came from hybrid plants, such as the pear-orange tree. Miss Terra and Charlie sat in their chic and modern living room, looking as made for each other as Barbie and Ken, waiting for Tea to try the beverage.
Tea did not want to try the company's drink, but she knew that in order to make a good impression on these filthy-rich people, she would have to drink it sooner or later. Feeling unhappy, she kicked her black backpack at her feet.
Suddenly, Tea opened her mouth, but not to drink the liquid. "Excuse me," she said. "I don't feel well, where's the bathroom?" "Down the hallway on your right and the last door on the left."
Tea nodded slightly, picked up her backpack (she didn't think she could trust her personal belongings with two strangers) and headed down the hall to the bathroom. Maybe if she hid out there long enough, the couple would forget about the juice. As she walked down the hall, she passed several bizzare paintings of screaming people, swords, and monkeys. Why the couple chose these pictures to hang in the house, she didn't know and preferred not to. The hall was eerily quiet and Tea felt a strange feeling, almost as though there was someone else near. When she came to the door on the left, she opened it a crack and peered in. It was the bathroom, thank God, and not some strange, a gauche chamber.
Tea dropped her backpack on the floor and shut the black door behind her. The bathroom was black tile with a round, white rug on the floor and the toilet and sink were normal, porcelain, and were not oddly-shaped like the rest of the furniture in the house. The shower/bath however, was one of those strange ones that instead of having a shower curtain, had a blurry box of glass surrounding it. The sun was shining brillantly through the glass of the window to the side of the shower/bath and into the tub. Suddenly, a whimper came from inside the tub and startled Tea. The whimper turned into a soft mewing, and against her better judgement, Tea walked towards the shower/bath a pushed aside one of its glass walls to find a baby inside.
"Oh my God."
The babe had some weird squiggly-sun marked on it's forehead, and had blond frizzy hair that sat like a puffy mop on top of it's head. A little band of light circled around its wrist and it looked up at Tea with sparkling, yellow eyes. The babe gave a toothless grin and waved it's arms around shouting gibberish at the top of it's lungs. Even though she was more than a little freaked out, Tea picked the babe up, sat on the toilet, and tried to soothe it to sleep.
Her attempts, of course, failed.
To make matters worse, someone started knocking the bathroom door. Tea looked wearily at the white door, but felt a little bit better as the babe stopped crying and looked at the door curiously.
"Tea, is everything alright?" Miss Terra asked, her voice muffled by the door.
"Um, I don't feel well," Tea responded trying to think of an excuse as quickly as she could. She sighed when she had only one idea that was pretty cliche, but tried to sound sick anyway, like a student hoping to get out of class. "May I go home?"
"Of course, Tea. You may speak with me over the phone tonight at seven P.M. Eastern Standard Time." Although the resonse sounded like a recorded message, the wedding planner was grateful to be let off the hook.
Tea took a good look at the babe who was babbling quietly in her arms. She was torn. She knew that the right and easiest thing to do, would be to tell Miss Terra and Charlie about the baby and hand it over to them. There was something about this kid, though, that made Tea want to do the wrong and hard thing. Something about the little girl made Tea want to take her home and raise her like a daughter. She knew she could, she had enough money to, but what if the police found out and thought she was kidnapping someone? What if the kid was Miss Terra and Charlie's and they decided to fire her?
These questions didn't stand a chance against Tea's desire to bring the kid home. She released a sigh and emptied out the backpack's contents onto the floor. Books, breathmints, pressed flowers, and tons of other little objects were scattered about the bathroom. Then, the enchantress reluctantly took the baby and placed her inside the black backpack. She zipped the satchel up almost all the way, but left it a crack open so the girl could breathe. Tea began to collect her things and ignored the baby's whimpers as she did so.
I know dear, but it's only going to take a few more minutes, she thought and slipped the backpack on over her shoulders. Then, like a well-oiled machine, Tea quickly, and with little motion, picked up the pile of her belongings off the floor and in a liquild motion with a barely freehand, left the bathroom, walked out of the house while mummuring a soft good-bye, shut the door behind her and opened her car door. She threw the items she was carrying into the backseat. Then, very gently, Tea placed the backpack in the passenger seat and shut the car door. She walked to the other side of the car and sat herself down on the driver's seat.
Sighing, she turned the car on, opened the bag a little more so the babe would have more air (just enough so that from a distance you could see tuffs of hair), and began to drive off. She would probably go home first to rethink this, but something inside her purred like a happy cat. She didn't feel guilty or sad, but instead, she felt proud and accomplished. It was strange, but even though her sub-conscious insisted on feeling a tinge of shame, none came.
The sound of the excited baby's voice came bursting out of the backpack.
"KIN!"
Kin, Tea thought. ...Isn't that a name?
Drumming her fingers on the wheel, she rolled her eyes.
Well... Perhaps...

Interesting brand of scrying! Does that mean she can't have a vision of a place where the sun isn't shining?
BTW, the small yellow font you're using is kind of hard to read. At least on my computer...

Yes, if the sun isn't shining in the place she's trying to scry, then she won't be able to use her powers to see what's goin' on in the desired place (which kinda stinks for her).
So if it's dark when she's in some place like Michigan and she wants to see what's going on in China, then in order to get a vision, the sun would have to be out and shining.
However, if it's nighttime or the sun isn't out in China, she won't have a vision.
Edit : I darkened the font for you, I hope it's better. ^^
