But just outside his door he met A.C. She'd been leaning against the wall directly opposite, waiting for him to either come out and go stark raving mad--loudly so--inside his new room. She figured it was a tossup which came first, given that he'd been in that dungeon for a while.

A.C. had blanked out for a minute, just staring off in the distance, but she came to as he walked away. I have GOT to get more sleep, she thought to herself, taking the best evaluation she could of him from the back before turning and going in the other direction. Did I ever fool-proof that room I snagged here? The 007 one, was it? I wonder if there's another empty room handy...
