Infact thats what split the band up....over the three years of touring the two members had a lot of personal changes.... till the end of it.

Personally I think he was bettter with long hair, but thats just me.

The indie forums have a better, full list, but indie normally means music that is created outside the mainstream. Normally it is created on indepedent labels or on no labels at all.
Normally the fan following is relativly smallish for these bands.
Examples include:
Of Montreal
Broken Social Scene
Stars
Feist
Deerhoof
Pavemant
Peter, Bjorn and John
MSTRKRFT
Sufjan Stevens
Joanne Newsom
As I said the indie forums of the music section have a better and much more detailed list.

Hate to break it to you, but most don't consider them indie because they have such wide sucess and are on a major label, and whored by the O.C.
