For those who dont know it was about a guy called Alan (Mmm DT) who was hit by a truck and suffered serious brain damage. At first he wasnt aware there was anything wrong with him so behaved selfishly, perverted and retarded. Then he eventually came to terms that there was something wrong and decided to sort his life out and try his very very best to rebuild his life and his family. It was really heartbreaking and so sweet.
And yes you saw DT naked xD On more than one occassion.

No way I'd be able to watch it! Or, at least, not without blushing and looking away whenever he's naked. I get way too embarrassed about seeing "the Doctor" naked. Or half-naked. xd It's embarrassing to even see the guy who was the Doctor in "Scream of the Shalka" (which was animated! Even though the characters look essentially like their voice actors) shirtless. I'm just weird that way.

Quote: Trust me, you wouldn't have a smile on your face when you watch this, no matter how much you fancied him. It was sooo sad!!! It was all soo horrible! i felt so sorry for them all. He was so nice and then nasty and violent, he couldn't even spell his wife's name, oh it was so sad... Yeah, I know. I just mean from that one little teaser trailer (so to speak) I couldn't really tell much of what it was, it was just this trailer of a ton of new shows and it had about half a minute of it....so to me it was kinda odd. I'm sure with that description I would be crying my eyes out at some point.

I saw that too.
It was a one off drama written by Tony Marchant. As Zeoronics said, David played a character called Alan Hamilton who suffered damage to the frontal lobe of his brain after being hit by a truck. This meant he could not control his behaviour properly, veering from childlike and naive to screaming rage in a fraction of a second.
To research the role, David and Sarah Parish met people who had suffered this in real life, and worked closely with the Headway charity, which assists people with brain damage. David is now a patron of the charity.
It was filmed during the three month break from Doctor Who.
It was an extremely difficult show to watch (for me anyway, but I suspect I am not alone in feeling this). I spent most of it in tears. It was excellently performed by everyone in the cast (including Ron Donachie, who played the steward in Tooth And Claw. He played Alan's father in this) and hopefully it will have educated people too.
I am now twice as careful as I was before when crossing the road as a result of this, because it could happen to anyone.
