Yeah... But you have to watch out as well, because more and more gays are moving out of the stereotypical box these days

Yeah.. I've never been asked, but that's basically because I tell the people I think would be alright with and should know. Should know as in, they're my friends, I don't want to keep secrets from them. And if they're not okay with it, then I know who are really my friends, no? I mean, it's alright..
But I can see who are gay mostly by guys.. I never saw it on a girl..

I dunno... I seem to be pretty intuitive and can kinda just 'tell'... though occasionally I've been off(like when I told a straight girl that I liked her... I thought she was bi sweatdrop )

There is no real way of telling. Intuition can work a lot, but it isn't a necessarily reliable source of information. Try being out yourself; the you're more likely to have others come to you. Although, sometimes, people will give little hints, such as being flirtacious with members of the same sex, etc. I know that sometimes, even when someone you know is out, it's not easy to come out, or even accept what you are (yes, what. It's what we are, not who. Who we are is a completely different story). For example, my best guy friend (I have to differentiate because I have two best friends: one female, the other male) and I were sorely convinced that our friend was bi. She would slip up a little sometimes, and we essentially coaxed her out of her shell. Because of all that, I was the first one to whom she came out.

Just flirt.. if they are going for it, ask them. if they are ok with the flirting, they prolly wont be offended by the question, even if they are straight
