I've known I've been bi for a little over a year, and my friends know and it went real well. Now I'm ready to tell my mom, and I was hoping that someone could give me some advice. It was easy with my friends, because I was pretty sure they would accept me (and they did), but I don't really know how to break it to my mom.

Is your mom open-minded or closed-minded?
You could always write a letter. That way you can get out everything you want without interruptions.
If you tell her in person, make sure you have what you're going to say planned out. Make sure you remember everything that you want to say. Try to answer any questions she may have as well as you can.
If she is a yelling type, it will make you seem more mature if you keep your voice down and stay calm. The more mature you are, the more likely she'll listen to you and believe everything you say.

Unfortantly, my mom's a tough case. Sometimes I hear here say she's okay with it as long as it's kept away from her, others she's all out against it. Whatever she really thinks, I still want to tell her because I'm tired of keeping it a secret. Thanks for the advice, I'll try to keep the being mature part in mind (I can get a bit of a temper).
