last year i liked this guy a little. nothing too serious and i didn't really know him that well i just knew that he was funny. so i've become good friends with him and this year his "brother" (next door neighbor who's mother wants to adopt him) is basically my best friend.
so i was talking to this kid last night because no one was on. and basically we ended up doing what we always do: flirt in a sick twisted way that no one knows is us flirting. basically he sounds very egotistical and up on himself durring this and starts "bragging" and calling me babe and honey and stuff to make it idk, sexier.
and well it works... he gets me flustered and i know he walks away from those conversations smirking and thinking about me.. but he only seems to date pretty girls.
what the hell do i do?
i know i want him and i probably won't get him.
and i know that if anything were to happen, it'd affect my best friend's life and would change what he says to me and how he says it...
i don't know what to do.

yeah, or at least of the two guys i like, he's the one who lives in my town and with whom i'm having trouble figuring out what to do.

Looking in retrospect, one may observe that those who try hardest lose the most when they lose, witch we can assume is not ALL the time, but those that try not at all, tend to lose anyway, when regarding situations in which there at first apears to be little or no hope.
Note/translation: If you have nothing to lose, just give it a try I guess. rolleyes or if you do have something to lose, be devious twisted

I guess you should try to keep your friendship with him as strong as possible and let things work out the way the lord wants them to. Be friends with both boys, see how that goes... it's a win-lose situation. You win the guy, you lose a friend. You keep a friend, you don't get the guy. But, if you let the lord make what was supposed to happen, happen, of course responding to him and listening to him otherwise he is no good because he can control you, but he doesn't like to, everything will work out perfectly. Just let it work out, see how things go before you make up your mind, because you could lose a friend in the process.
